What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
on 6/6/16 7:49 am
SO very sorry for your loss. She sounds like a great lady.
I'm just having the worst day ever. I am to angry to even post the details--but I was frustrated to the point of actual tears this morning. Stupid Monday.
I need to be a whole lot better about eating today. Lots of little carb-y mistakes crept in over the weekend...but in fairness there was a house full of very very very bad choices and I only slipped a few times. There might be photographic evidence of me eating a cookie, but I'm told it will be used for blackmail purposes, only. Uh-oh.
B: Fit Frappe Mocha with decaf

Sorry to hear about your MIL. I feel like I haven't posted in forever though I think it has only been a few weeks. Work has been seriously sucking and I'm diligently trying to plan a way not to have to work after February. I'll be happier and healthier. I realized while I was out for all my surgeries that it's just better for my family if I'm available to do things for them instead of working all the time. So we will see if we can make this work.
My weekend was good, did some local festival time with the kids, did a little shopping, needed some shorts and more work pants.
I hope everyone's Mondays get better.

Good morning and Happy Monday I had plans to join the dress/skirt "challenge" but never made it over to my friend's to pick up my dresses. So jeans and a pink sweater it is. After a weekend with temps close to 100, it's a cool 59 this morning. I don't know how to dress myself. Wish I could go to work in workout clothes. Carbfest 2016 continued this weekend, but I woke up with a new resolve. I refuse to go into this surgery at a weight higher than my last appointment. So, I need to lose about 3 lbs between now and 6/22. I think a modified version of AMAW or CAMAW is in order. Also, I think i've broken my Peanut Butter habit. I was at Target yesterday and bought a new jar. Wasn't paying attention and bought chunky. It was not good and it killed my craving on the spot. Yay chunky PB!??!
Here's my plan:
B: Turkey (3.8oz) Cheese (1.1 oz) and pesto
L: tri tip (4.8 oz) edamame
D: Chicken Curry salad (I think. We have book club tonight and this is my typical go to. . . unless the special of the day is salmon)
S: Skinny vanilla latte (I had to . . . it was double star day at starbucks); Turkey and cheese roll up
