Weekend was busy with training and racing. New race report and blog post. Looking forward to a calmer week. Tomorrow my baby "graduates" from Elementary school. Where has the time gone? I miss my littles. I appreciate the tweens they are becoming but it was so much easier to take sass when they were adorable 2 years old than now when they are hormonal young adults. Ah the struggle.

Good morning! So sorry to hear about your MIL, Kristen.
Saturday was lunch with friends in Stratford. I had Halloumi salad with grilled halloumi cheese, carrot, grilled lettuce (smoky mesquite), avocado, chickpeas, vinaigrette, lemon ... it was a flavour extravaganza, delicious, and filling for hours and hours. The highest calorie version I could find on MyFitnessPal was 625 calories, so that's the number I used, but I didn't need dinner, just some fresh strawberries as an evening snack. I would definitely have it again!
Roast beef is in the oven even as I write this post.
B: chicken breast with wildberry jam
L: low sodium ham with Dijon mustard
D: roast beef au jus
S: chicken nibblers, laughing cow cheese, fresh strawberries

Morning AV. I'm so sorry about your MIL. Best wishes for you and all your family.
Well, my two weeks of nothing but crappy carbs are up. I haven't eaten this bad, for this long, in over four years. It ends today.
I still haven't worn a skirt, but since others have pictures, here is me in shorts:

AV, So sorry to hear of your loss. May you and your family find peace and comfort during this difficult time. I attended my friends funeral this weekend so I am feeling the sting myself. One day at a time.
My weekend was lovely overall. Friday was a bit miserable because I went to buy a few new bras as none that I currently have are fitting at all. Turns out I have gone from a 42DDD to a 36B. A "B"?!?! Seriously? Ugh. Oh well. NSV= I didn't cry openly in the dressing room. Go me! Saturday went to the funeral and I am glad it is done. Kept expecting lightening to strike me in the church because I haven't been to church in years. Listening to that poor pastor try to explain that "once saved, always saved" works even with suicide but also don't commit suicide was mildly amusing to me. Got together with co-workers afterward and felt comforted by those friendships. Sunday was truly hang around the house, play cards, and do laundry. Was beautiful.
Thought of you all this morning and did in fact wear a skirt. I think I can get through at least Wednesday. Might need to hit the re-sale shop after that because the dresses I bought a month or so ago are all now much too big.
Menu:
B: Low fat Great Value Greek Yogurt
L: Chobani Simply 100 Greek Yogurt and an apple
S: Cheese stick
D: Left over sirloin steak 3oz
Totals: Calories 577, Protein 49, Carb 59, Fat 12
Hmmm...looks like I need to eat more steak! I will try for a second serving see if can get that protein number up.
Have a good day ya'll.
