Good morning! Sorry to hear about your MIL Kristen, that is sucky. 87 is a lot of years, but we are never really ready are we?
I had a good weekend, busy but fun. We have an extra kid at our house right now, it's my 15 year old's friend. He has a crazy home life and it got out of hand last Thursday so he's hanging out until his crazy parents say he has to come back home. Honestly I hope they just don't. He's been through enough. Why can't adults just be adults?
In the spirit of all dress/all skirt week, I'm posting one. I cannot promise all week, but I will make a solid effort.
B- 2 turkey and cheese roll ups
S- premier protein shake
L- wonderful, wonderful. I made this yesterday for lunch. Diced pre-cooked chicken (1.5 oz); Salsa, bacon crumbled, cojita cheese, avocado, greek yogurt and spicy ranch dressing. Ended up being like 210 calories for my portion size. For people who are further out, you could put this on a bed of lettuce and it would be delish too! (it looks like a ton of greek yogurt but it's like 2 T. )
D- porkchop
S- cheese stick

**One more thing: my weight loss has be super slow the past two weeks and I'm not impressed with that given I'm only a month out from surgery. I noticed yesterday the flipping triple zero yogurt still has a ton of carbs, so I am going to cut those out this week and see if it helps any. I was eating one a day for a snack.

All yogurt has naturally occurring milk sugars... so I don't think the sugars are all that different. It does seem to have a higher carb count... but balanced with higher protein and the extra carbs are in the form of fiber... so really kind of a toss up.
Realize even though you are early out weight loss can stall. Doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong. Stalls are common in the first month... and periodically along the way. I went into a stall one week after surgery...and then I lost nothing! zero pounds! for 3 1/2 weeks... yeah, that drove me crazy... but also taught me some valuable lessons about not obsessing ... have to think long term. I remember the Doc saying when I was complaining about the stall, "I am not worried, you will lose weight". SO true...
