Good Morning all!  How was everyone's weekend?  Mine was ****ty, thanks for asking.  LOL  Well, it was up and down, really.  My son's baseball game was a nailbiter, but they managed to pull out the win in the bottom of the 6th with my baby boy driving in the winning run with a screaming line drive that almost took the 3rd baseman's head off.  Then we got a call from my brother in law that my husband's mother passed away that morning.  It was actually her 87th birthday and there was supposed to be a big party.  So, that super sucked.  We're heading downstate on Tuesday afternoon for a few days, so if someone wants to kick off the post on Wed./Thurs. that'd be great.  Know what else would be great?  If the people I love would stop dying.

On a lighter note, the all dress/all skirt challenge continues!  Today:  striped cotton shift.

As for a menu, I got nothin'.  Seriously, I have no idea what I'm eating today.  I have a drawer full of protein bars, half a bag of pork rinds and an empty wallet.  This is not good.  LOL  Let me eat vicariously through you guys.

ETA:  Here's my MIL's obit, if you're interested.  She was a cool lady.  Mary Joyce Brennan

I said it before, and I'll say it again -- that Lauren is a keeper.

I'm not sure I'd be a good bacon critic though. All bacon is good.

I am so sorry to hear about your Mother In Law

My weekend was busy as usual, memorial for friend's sister where I made food, helped set up, and take everything down.  Then right after that my friend HAD to move, it was planned as moving day anyway, then her sister passed away...but they still needed to move.  Hubby and I didnt get home until well past 10:30.  Thankfully my parent's were watching the boys for us, so at least the boys weren't up that late.  Then Sunday was more running around, and I think it was hormones, or maybe I am just a raging *****but Hubby and I were like constantly bickering yesterday and I was ready to bury him in the back yard.  lol

Today is my wedding anniversary.....nothing planned.  AND I really wish I hadn't mentioned it yesterday, because Hubby completely FORGOT...ugh We are both working today, then I have therapy, then Parker has a t-ball game.  I guess we just wont be celebrating our anniversary this year, we are "booked" solid like every weekend until FOREVER.  And really, I am in such a foul mood I dont even want to celebrate right now! lol

You need to celebrate, it is an important tradition. Reminds us why we chose that person... Go watch your wedding video tonight if you have one... or take out your pictures.

Especially because you were ready to bury him in the backyard yesterday....

Oh we will exchange cards....well I bought him a card anyway.  He had TOTALLY forgotten about our anniversary as of yesterday when I mentioned it.  ugh

We don't have a video, but we have lots of pictures we can look at.

Its so hard to get out ALONE when you have small children, and the last two times my parent's have watched the boys it was so we could go help my friend move....the same friend....twice in the past month!  ugh

Happy Anniversary.  That's the thing about June weddings, so much going on in June, end of school year, kids games, weddings, graduations, etc.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe your hubby was the one who was a crab ass yesterday?  Don't go putting it all on you!
