What is on your Saturday Menu RNYers?
Oh Yes! If I am around I will be there. (Still figuring out if there is a trip to Chicago to my son and family happening)
What part of Long Island, and what dates?....so I will make a mental note you will be here.
Dontcha love dirt cheap? and really nice? Very cute... Think there is an informal dress challenge on the board next week after AV's week of skirts...LOL.

I'll be there Saturday 6/25, in the Amityville/Copiague area. As time draws near I'll reach out again.
Works been to busy for me to follow the daily menu thread during the week. I just ordered. Maxi dress from old navy-- I hope it comes this week.

Good morning, I have only posted a couple times but I am on day 2 of trying to get back on track and figure this will help. I will be 1 year out at the end of this month and have let alcohol derail me for the past 4 months. I woke up yesterday morning not remembering the night before and knew it was time to pitch the booze. Made it through yesterday and feel so much better about myself.
I have not lost any weight since my 6 mo checkup, wtf. I really want to lose another 5 lbs before my 1 year checkup so I also started a 5 day pouch test by Kaye Bailey that my nut gave me. Not sure I believe in it but I did lose a lb yesterday (may have been no alcoholð?¤"). Anyway, at least all the different recipes and planning are keeping me busy. I spent a couple hours yesterday looking for powdered egg whites to make high protein gelatin and need to continue my quest this morning.
have a great weekend.

#1 Yay for realizing you need to ditch the booze! Besides going down a slippery slope of transfer addiction, it will derail the weight loss.
2 Can't believe a nutritionist gave you the pouch test.... Get back on track by getting back to basics. A protein forward diet- Protein at every meal and snack, preferably choose dense protein as much as possible, as that will keep you full the longest. They say minimum 60-80g, but most people find they do better with more protein. Take your vitamins and minimum of 64oz fluids/water a day. Once you white knuckle the carbs for a few days, the cravings for them will stop.
#3 Keep coming back and posting... support helps.

Good morning NY mom. Your hair looks great!! Yesterday was a good day. I stayed on point with my food and got a lot of exercise in walking around the camp at the rodeo.
Today I have woke up and it's one of those days if I drink a protein shake I may hurl. So I will have to be creative and get the protein in.
