What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning! Back to my normal routine for a few days at least! The tournament wasn't all that great as they lost the first two games and didn't make it to the afternoon (they did win game 3) and it was so HOT. The girls had a good time this year and that is truly what matters.
QOTD: Yummmm fruit. Favorite would be any kind of berry and I also don't like cantaloupe or honey dew melon.
Time since surgery: 21 months
B: SF latte, egg beaters with shredded cheese, 2 slices of bacon
L: Bananas and cream protein shake with powdered PB2 with chocolate
S: SF latte, strawberry L&F Greek yogurt, pork rinds and beef jerky
D: Noodle-less lasagna and some SF jello
E: 6 miles this morning and elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals:1160 Protein:142 Carbs:60 Fat:36
Have a great one!
Yasss, someone in my cantaloupe corner. My mom loved it and when she would buy one she'd leave on the windowsill in the kitchen to ripen in the sun. Or something. OMG, the smell. Like a dirty rag. blergh
Hello everyone! It's a cool and somewhat foggy day here in Boston. I'm hoping the scale drops again soon because I've been hovering around 250 for the last several days.
QOTD: Fave fruit is raspberries and Macintosh apples. Least favorite: all kinds of melon. Blech.
Time since surgery: it'll be two months on Saturday
B: high protein cheesecake pudding (PM me if you want the recipe; my NUT gave it to me and it's great), large coffee with cream
L: No idea, probably some chicken salad from down stairs.
D: My friends and I are going out for Afghani food. Sounds interesting!

Ooh did you go to the Helmand? I freaking love that place. They do things to pumpkin that should be illegal...

We did go to Helmand and it was delicious. I didn't try the pumpkin, but I had a great dish called "mowtoo" or something like that. Beef dumpling type things with a beef sauce and yogurt. I was able to eat two, try a bite of the great bread, and now I have leftovers for lunch today ;)

QOTD - My favorite fruit is peaches. Could eat them all day every day. MMmm. Least favorite, I'm right there with ya on the cantaloupe, gross!
Since surgery I've relied on premier protein because it doesn't make me feel so stuffed, that has me a little worried. I'm going back to strictly isolates today. So thankful to you all.

Good morning everyone!
FU with dr today...feeling so much better!
I am really sore today...was outside yesterday; first planted 8 begonias in a flower bed with hubby assist; followed by starting the restraining of the deck around the pool (still no decision on if it stays or if it goes, lol) We are restaining with Rescue it...looks more like paint but we are tired of restating every other year. It looks good but we have a long ways to go and going to rain a lot over the next few days. Lots of exercise though!
QOTD: Love blackberries, watermelon, pineapple, bananas, apples, orange...you get the idea, lol, I love fruit! I hate kiwi, pomegranate, star fruit....any kind of weird crap, lol.
B: egg, ham and melted cheese...2 oz total
L: probably protein shake on the go to dr's
D: maybe try marinated chicken from the grill...see how that works out. Never giving up on chicken!
Have a great day all!
