DD BLUEBERRY COFFEE CONVERT HERE!!!!!!! FINALLY GOT SOME....
QOTD :hands down, green apple skittles... Why was I SMO again? No one ever gets fat eating fruit, I read that online.
I am driving to be there when my dad has surgery. I have. 4 pounds to lose by Tuesday for my dietbet and I ain't playing. I brought my shakes... All of them in a laundry basket. Pouches of tuna... Going to dinner with dad tonight and will have a cheese omelet.
Brought my walking shoes and my scale. Have my traveling food scale in my car.
It's on!!!!
Happy Thursday!
QOTD: Lil' Cuties! They are sooooo cutie! Also grapes and blueberries. These are my beloved fruits. Ohhh fruit! How do I love the?
Weird in a way to realize how much I love these things now. Prior to surgery I would have been writing love poems to chips, cupcakes, or pancakes... never to fruit. My tastes certainly have changed. Yay!

Good Morning / Afternoon Everyone!
Wow! I slept in until 11 am this morning! I must have needed the sleep! The doctor called yesterday and my Potassium is low and they want to put me on prescription Potassium so that may account for why I've been feeling so tired lately.
QOTD: Favorite fruit is bananas. Least favorite is grapefruit.
Yesterday I ate: Protein shake, roast beef, Weigh****cher's meal and a muscletech mission 1 protein bar. Today will probably be similar.
Exercise will be walking the dogs.
Have a great day everyone!

Hello all my favorite peeps. I am so glad that we are on the final slide into the weekend. What is it about short weeks that make them so hard?
It is the 1/2 Yearly Sale time at Nordstrom, so I am going to try to swing by after work. I need jeans and summer work skirts. Aw, shopping! How I love you.
QOTD: Raspberries and mangos are my favorites. They taste like sunshine to me. I am not fond of honey dew melons, but I do enjoy a perfectly ripe cantaloupe. I do a mango and jicama salad with a lime, rice wine vinegar and fish sauce dressing that is always a hit at summer BBQs. Very fresh and healthy.
Yay on day 3 of your skirt/dress week. How are your coworkers handling the lack of black and beige?

I'm a "wing it" kinda girl where recipes are concerned, but here it goes. You can adjust amounts to your taste. 2 RIPE (very important) mangos, thinly sliced. 1/2 of a jicama, peeled and thinly sliced the same size as the mango. Mix together juice from 2 limes, equal amount of seasoned rice wine vinegar, and a Tsp of fish sauce. Pour over mango and jicama, and enjoy. If you use unseasoned rice wine vinegar, add a little honey to take the edge off.
Easy peasy. It is also delicious in fish tacos, or as I eat them, all of the fish taco innards piled on a plate.
