Question.... We are going to an amusement park for the first time tomorrow since surgery. What is your go to food that isn't horrible? I am taking nuts with me. Any suggestions of foods that will keep in a back pack for the day?

Thanks in advance

Protein bar, small travel size pea nut butter with veggies... You should be able to buy salad with grilled chicken there, hopefully. Do you know if they'll let you bring in your own food?

They do not allow food in. That's why I was worrying. I will take the protein bars and find grilled chicken. Thanks!

someone is sure to have grilled chicken- maybe pork rinds- but if not- bring a couple non meltable protein bars, jerky if your plan allows- maybe crystal light packet if sensitive.

You can bury it at the bottom of a backpack under a sweater or something. If they ask about it, tell them you have a medical condition and need it for emergencies.  Good luck.

I didn't even think about saying medical condition. That's the truth! This will be the first time trying to fit in rides in several years too.

So exciting! Congrats!  I can't wait to get back on a roller coaster!  I was just wondering the other day, when should I expect to fit in rides again?  Like weight or size wise? What has been everyone's experience?

My starting weight was 309.8, surgery March 4,2016, and I weighed this morning and I was 238.2. My butt just fit right in the seat and I was ecstatic!!!!!!!
