QOTD: I'm pretty sure I am part fish, I don't remember a time that I didnt know how to swim! My family (Uncle) owns a camp on a lake and we were there a LOT growing up, so swimming was second nature! Funny story: when I was an infant, my Dad saw on TV you could blow in a baby's face and they will hold their breath. So he tried it, blew in my face and held my under the water out at camp. My mother "caught" him and thought he was trying to murder me! It must have worked, I mean I am alive, and not brain dead...well mostly.
My menu is the same as yesterday, and I am ok with that

Good morning! I love the skirt! Paisley is one of my favs! If you want to track me down on Facebook I'm Nikki Brown Huss. Warning: All my posts are triathlon or child related. I'm pretty lame.
I don't think it's fair that I don't get to answer the QOTD But, if there is anyone out there who cannot swim and wants lessons I am a certified instructor. I work for dense protein (and possibly travel expenses)
Today is already behind schedule. I was going to run this morning but I couldn't get my butt out of bed. So I brought my stuff to run at lunch. Hopefully that happens. Tonight I'm having a girlfriend over for drinks and dinner. I'm looking forward to some girl time.

Also, new blog post as of yesterday!
Good luck on the race this weekend! I know you're going to kill it, and I believe that any race helps get you prepared for the year end. And, you were going to swim, bike, run anyway . . . so you might as well get some race bling!
I'm kind of sad I don't have any raced planned before surgery. I've already registered for my first post surgery race . . . Dodger Foundation 10k on October 2. I think my half marathons are done for the year unless I bounce back remarkably quickly. If so, I'm considering either rock and roll LA or RNR Vegas
