LOL @ mom-mobile!  I drive a 2008 Jeep Patriot that is both a POS and a beast.  I love it.  Her name is Shrek because the side mirrors look like Shrek's ears.  And it's green.  LOL

Good Morning Everyone!

QOTD:  I drive a blue 2008 Toyota RAV 4.  My daughter drives a maroon Chevy Tracker with the license plate "Chikadee" (my nickname for her when she was little).

I ate a few too many calories yesterday.  I seemed to be hungry all day long.  I ate:  Protein shake,  Muscletech Mission 1 Protein bar, bacon, string cheese sticks, an Atkin's snack bar, a piece of swiss cheese, and a power bar protein bar.  I will try to do better today.

Exercise:  I took my Chihuahua for a walk around the subdivision yesterday.  We've been going all the way around, which I used to be barely able to handle when I was heavier, and now I can do it without panting or sweating!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi Karen,

Are you using My fitness pal? Another thing that might help is to break up your bars into 1/2. I would normally eat 1/2 for breakfast, then 2-3 hours later eat the other half. I also nuke mine in the microwave for 10 seconds also to make them gooey.

Also, how are the sugars on those bars? missions are low I know- not sure about the others.

Hi Hillary,

No, I'm not using My Fitness Pal.  I just log my calories, protein & carbs onto my computer.  I should check it out.  That's a good idea to break the protein bars in half.  I also like the idea of microwaving them for 10 secs. to make them gooey.  Yum!  I should probably eat more real food and less protein bars.  Thanks for your feedback and thanks for adding me on Facebook!

It's surprising how many of you know what you will be eating later in the day; so far it's coffee here.  Weird as it sounds, I've rented cars just for the fun of it.  In fact, the car I own now, an Alien-green colored Kia Soul, was a former rental car purchased solely (pun intended) because it will be a fun car for whichever daughter gets our hand-me-down.  There isn't Kia cars or Kia dealers anywhere in this neck of the woods, so I'm recognized everywhere I go.  Now that I'm a full-time farmer's wife, I am in the market for a 4 x 4 pickup with a dump bed in the back; men around here will drool over me, drool over my truck, that is.
