I can never post in the morning.  I barely get to work as it is :)  So I post when I can and figure some people read late in the day.  How did the workout at work go?

Pretty well actually! The elliptical wasn't my favorite, but use of the gym is free and I really think I'll benefit from mid-week workouts. I'll try a different machine next time. My goal is to do Tuesdays and Thursdays for now. We'll see if this works. It seems like a nice way to supplement my weekend workouts.

I think it is good to change things up. I go to the gym with the trainer twice during the week, but enjoy hiking when I can on the weekends. That is great that it is free too!  My trainer always recommends the stair stepper. That is some hard stuff.  I did 5 minutes last time at the gym. I'll keep working at it in between the treadmill and recumbent bike. Funny, I don't ever do the elliptical. Just find one you like to keep you interested.

I know I have already posted today but I have a question. I see people post that they eat shrimp for breakfast. How do you prepare them? Thanks in advance.

I just buy the cooked/frozen shrimp in the bag; 41-50 size.  I throw like 10 or 12 in a Tupperware, put them in the fridge when I get to work.  At lunchtime I just soak them in cold water for a few minutes and they're good to go with ****tail sauce!

Thank you! I'm trying to get more protein in and I seen everybody does this!

Shrimp is practically a miracle food. Low cal, low fat, and high protein.

I do the same thing as AV or I'll cook them the night before in a tbs of Pesto and eat them cold the next day.

That sounds delish!

I like to saute them with garlic and shallots.  I use non-stick cooking spray.  I either eat them cold, or heat for just a few seconds.  Delish!
