Hi there everyone! I think it's time I jump in here since I'm officially allowed to have pureed/soft foods! I had a good weekend, and did really well at the party we went to on Saturday night. Of course, being where I am on the food ladder helps a lot ;) I did find myself (silently) critiquing those around me... especially those that claimed to be on a diet, or wanting to lose weight. I hope this hyper awareness of what others have goes away soon!

I did eat out on Sunday for the first time. We went to Cheddars and I ordered the grilled salmon with black beans and green beans. I cut a small piece (hoping for about 2 ounces) of the salmon off and ate that with a few bites of the beans. I felt really good about it, and took home enough for 2 more meals LOL... the chickens will get the rest of the beans, but I managed to get all that salmon finished off!

QOTD... dead mouse in the walls is awful, and we live in the country, and unfortunately there is a spot the mice like to crawl up and die in that is adjacent to our guest room... it happens more than I care to admit.

Breakfast: I had 6 oz Bariatric Advantage cookies and cream shake

Snack: 2 ounces of a crab cake I made this weekend (no breadcrumbs, very deliciious!)

Lunch: 6 ounce BA shake

Snack: 1/4c ricotta bake

Dinner: 6 ounce BA shake

Can you share the crab cake recipe without bread crumbs? Crab cakes are my FAVE.

Good morning all.  Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.  I did not.  I have two weeks until my pre-op diet starts and the fat girl voice in my head is telling me to make the most of them.  So over the weekend I ate crap . . . no other way to describe it.  Ice cream, gummy bears, ice cream, potatoes, ice cream, cookies and peanut butter (x a billion).  And did I mention ice cream?  That combined with the near constant consumption of crackers to help with my acid resulted in a 3.1 lb weight gain (I was afraid to step on the scale this morning but forced myself to)  I'm so upset with myself and it needs to stop.  I went 2 years without ice cream and didn't die, right?  So, if it makes me sick after surgery it won't be the end of the world.  My logical brain understands that, but the fat girl is screaming "feed me while you still can."  She needs to shut the hell up so I can get back on track.  My goal was to go into this surgery as lean and strong as possible and the fat ***** isn't helping me.  Oh, and work is super stressful right now.  I was spending the day in Malibu on Sunday when my boss called and I had to leave and go into the office.  How did I handle that???  Ice cream.  Ugh.  My name is Stacy and I need an intervention.

Edited to add KQOTD:  vomit ranks high on the list.  However, my absolute least favorite may be rotten broccoli.  You know, the stench when you forget it in the refrigerator?  Nasty.

Here's my plan (which does not include any ice cream)

B: 2 eggs, 1 oz ham, 1 oz shredded cheese. Latte made with 4 oz fairlife milk

L: Rib eye, tomato salad (cherry tomatoes, avocado, green onion, cucumber and blue cheese.  I have 1/4 cup with me)

D: ??  I'm supposed to go with my book club to see the new Jane Austen movie and they're meeting at Cheesecake Factory (which is fine with me, I usually get a piece of fish and veggies) but I don't know if I'll be able to leave work in time.  So, totally up in the air

S: 1.5 oz turkey with a wedge of laughing cow. Dannon light and fit

Totals (without dinner) Cal: 803; Protein: 96g; Fat: 34g; Carbs 29g

NO MORE ICE CREAM!!  You got this!  Tell the "fat girl" to keep her mouth shut!!  Although admittedly I would likely be doing the exact same thing...

Stop it.

It has to stink, going into another surgery, with a new round of food funerals. And I can't imagine constant acid issues. Having said all that, just stop it. Go kick some ass instead.

Thanks you guys.  I'm getting myself back in line as of today.  I feel better just acknowledging I was out of control and knowing I have a plant to take care of it.  Thank you!!!!!
