Dumping
So I'm two weeks out and still drinking lots of shakes. I tried the Fit Frappe cappuccino shake and dumped within a few minutes. I had to go re read the nut label. It said 0 sugars, but it also listed 6g of sugar alcohols. I guess I can't do this one. It was so yummy too.

Fit Frappe is not a whey isolate protein. It is a protein made from milk and is loaded with lactose. My guess id that you are lactose intolerant and that is the problem. It is also a slowly absorbed protein and not a good source for post WLS. We need fast absorbing protein. Whey isolate is the best. If your protein contains Whey concentrate it also has lactose. Here is a link explaining the side effects from this protein and why it is a poor choice post WLS.

Great article......I have been drinking all kinds of protein drinks over the years. I am lactose intolerant and I do get bloated quite a bit. I will be checking the labels when buying protein powders. I am diabetic so I basically only look at carbs, sugar, and fiber. I am scheduled for surgery on 6/27/16 so this is a good thing to know for my after surgery life.
i had a 6 hour toilet session with stuff coming out of both ends when I had a sugar-free pudding cup that had xylitol in it. The intestinal cramps were so bad, I almost blacked out twice. I won't even look at chocolate now. No big loss there.

I switched over to Fit Frappe when I was only about 10lbs from goal and very confident that was getting enough protein from food sources. Early out I used Unjury brand shakes which are definitely a much better protein source.
