Older but not wiser!!!
I am just about 1 1/2 years out and tonight I'm dealing with that "stuck" feeling. I ate Cornish game hen and either I overcooked it or it was a tough old bird. I still seem to have a problem with chicken or the like getting stuck and even though I am "crazy4birds" I don't think they like me. I thought I was past the stage of puking my guts out but I guess not.
Have you tried chewable papaya enzyme tablets to help dissolve stuck meat? They are cheap to buy, easy to store, and seem to help. I've concluded there is no rhyme or reason to "stuck days" and have given up trying to decide if it's the meat or me. Sidenote: since you are crazy4birds you might get a kick out of what I witnessed this morning...I was watching my DH move his huge equipment hauling trailer out of the cow pasture only to replace it with a much smaller one parking it in the exact same spot. I asked him, "what was that all about?" He said, "there's a bird nest with five speckled eggs that need shade." Endnote: I need to stop fighting with a guy like that...sigh.
Thanks, I need to try them. Your guy is a keeper!!! Hope you are enjoying your new house, if you were able to move.
Poultry is still tougher for me than beef.

Poultry, that's the word I couldn't think of last night, which is why I wrote "chicken or the like". I too have no problem with beef. Seems weird, but I'm glad it's this way instead of the opposite.
I do best with chicken that has been boiled (then chicken salad) or cooked in a sauce to keep it from drying out. I don't really eat the sauce, but it keeps the chicken moist. Mostly when I grill or bake it, I dry it out too much and it sticks in my throat.

Wonder if rotisserie chicken would be better. I buy them already cooked for $5.99 and they are so moist and dissolve before swallowing . Plus they are less expensive than buying one to cook usually . You can use them all week in diff recipes
