Eating to much to have a new pouch ??
I aim for 60-80 grams of protein and about 700-800 calories. I typically have a protein shake for breakfast, 3-4 oz. ham or turkey for lunch, and maybe 4 oz. meatloaf for dinner. You can look at my food on MFP if you want - I'm BethyAnny and my food is open.

I guess my big question to help you answer this, is; are you satisfied with your rate of weight loss with calorie leves you are eating at? Are you keeping in mind weight loss will slow down, and you'll have to adjust accordingly.
My program called for 1200 calories from the 6week point on. I don't follow that though. I'm 13 months out, but I've only tracked my eating for the past 190 days, and my calories have been set to 1000 that entire time, most days I come in under that. I imagine before then is when I was hovering at that 600-800 calorie mark.
I never struggled to make 600, 800 or even 1000 calories, I can hit each one rather easily. As long as I'm weighing/measuring/tracking my intake, I don't worry that I don't struggle. Everyone's journey is unique to them and their goals.

I guess my worry is that I'm satisfied with to much food. I don't feel to full and I'm gonna go lower today .

A phrase I learned a long time ago regarding nutrition/weight loss is "Never hungry- never full"
you say you are "satisfied" with too much food--- ok, then trying scaling back a bit and see if you are still satisfied-- that should be the goal, satiety.
Being full should not be the goal.

There is a huge difference in pouch sizes. Each surgeon does what he is comfortable with. I had a micro-pouch. I was stuffed on 1/2 ounce of chicken or a slice of cheese. Most pouches start out about the size of an egg and can hold about three ounces of food.
The pouch does stretch and grow and there are foods that I can now eat a three ounce portion of. Filet mignon, sausage and fish are foods that I can finish three ounces of. But I have to eat slowly to do it.
A pouch that comfortably holds four ounces is probably where your surgeon started. That pouch will stretch, as all pouches stretch and grow to their full size. At the end of a year, you will probably be comfortable with a twelve ounce portion. Restriction from pouch size will not keep weight off. Only careful dieting will do that.
I maintain on 1300 calories a day and lose on 800. On 800 calories, I will lose one pound a week.
Your surgeon can tell you how big your pouch is.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Oh my gosh. I want a smaller pouch. I was really hoping to feel full. I think I have a lot of learning to do as to when my body is satisfied as compared to the panicked feeling of the band .

At the end of the day, as much as weight loss still feels like a mystery to us, it really isn't. It's math. The fewer calories you consume, the more weight you will lose.
Here is the formula: The amount of calories you burn is generally about 10x your body weight. So if you are 200 lbs you'll burn about 2000 calories a day--just by breathing, blinking and walking around. Now, to lose a pound, you have to create a deficit of 3500 calories. In order to do that, it's pretty obvious that the fewer calories you consume, the faster you are going to lose weight.
Not all pouch sizes are created equal, so you will have to play around with different foods and eating intervals to see what keeps you satiated at the lowest possible calorie intake with the highest possible protein count. That's the part that stops being math, and starts being magic. But you can do it!

Thank you ! I'm thinking of doing eggs in place of bacon ... Deli chicken no cheese and maybe skipping beef and doing fish and chicken for supper . I guess that's where I'll start.
