I would never waste part of my calorie budget on donuts. Unless it was a chocolate frosted. Or a chocolate croissant donut. Or coconut. I LOVE coconut.

when we went on vacation in April, there was a Dunkin Donuts in the lobby of the hotel.  They had a special Strawberry Shortcake Cronut in a cute little box that my 2 year old insisted on having, since it looked so fancy on the counter.  Umm, 2 year olds don't tend to finish a whole donut, but mommies of 2 year olds do!  OMG, that half a donut was AWESOME!

We don't have as many Dunkin Donuts here, but I hit the drive thru every morning at Tim Horton's for a coffee with cream and splenda.  5 days a week.  I will not say I've only had one lapse since I've been doing that, but I am proud to say that I haven't had a donut or splurge there since before I had that cronut on vacation nearly 2 months ago.

also, did  you know that 1 "Timbit" is only 20 cents?  They have apple fritter Timbits...

I have never been to a Tim Horton's. I hear great things, but I would need to stay FAR AWAY from an apple fritter anything...

Dunkin' Donuts are so disappointing if you have ever had a Krispy Kreme donut...LOL...back to the topic...think of all the sacrifices you have made and ask if it's worth it or not.  Some folks can handle one donut and never touch another and some folks (me) eat one and then I need a dozen.  Say no to donuts lol!!!

good lordy on krispy kreme! I'm from GA - we used to go into the store when the light was on and watch them come from the coveyor belt and get iced- I would get them super fresh.

some weddings instead of cake did a krispy kreme glazed donut tower instead

I absolutely agree on Krispy kreme; I lived in Florida for 18 years and they were sooo good.

We have Krispy Kreme here too, I love the raspberry filled.  I haven't had one in years, and it would probably make me super sick if I did, but man I loved those things.
