I work at a desk job, and I have flexibility, so keep that in mind.
I had my surgery on Monday the 16th, and came back to work on Tuesday the 24th. I have worked lighter hours so far - maybe 5 hours a day. I'm tired when I get home and I take a nap on the couch LOL, but I'm doing OK. I think it's almost good to get out of the house and back to a more regular schedule as soon as you can without pushing yourself too much.

Hi :) I was home alone the day after I got back from the hospital and I did okay. I agree everyone is different but as long as you can get up and walk and go to the bathroom you should be fine. Might be a good idea to have someone on stand by just to make sure though.

I live alone, and had no problem with no one there with me after surgery. I have friends and family that were close by, and a friend did come over to check on me and walk me around the block. Other then that, I was on my own and did very well. I did not have any complications or much pain, so it was easy. Everyone is different, so it is good to have a plan in case you need to have someone there, and then not activate the plan if you don't need the help.
