What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Sorry Life has been so hectic and crazy for you Nikki!  So as per my post yesterday and your post today about sleeping troubles it looks like many of us don't sleep well since we had surgery, SO WEIRD!!

And I too for the last month maybe have been waking up with heartburn. I never had heartburn before surgery and I am 2.6 years post op and have never had any problems so this is so weird and feels "off".

I hope you feel better and its just a cold or allergies and not something serious.

Love the idea of an Ironman tattoo, I dated a guy many many years ago who was an Olympic swimmer and he had the coloured Olympic rings tattooed really small on his ankle it was very cool and a good conversation starter!  You could do it somewhere private and small and it would have a lot of meaning to you!

Hope you feel better soon.  Heartburn sucks.

QOTD: I do not have any tattoos. I am in a constant state of change due to my gemini nature so something permanent like that wouldnt work. I would get it and then the next day not like it anymore. BUT i am looking to get my nose pierced very soon. I have always wanted one (a very tiny one) and I might go through with it.

Meat week has either made me hungry in the evenings or my head hunger has started activating again. before bed I keep wanting more things to eat. So I need to put a cap on that issue. trying to steer clear of the yasso bars, etc also in the evenings- but I have been eating either more meat (yay) or a yogurt for a little sweetness.

I rode the recumbent bike last night instead of jogging - it was super humid and the pollen was at all time high so they were telling people that are sensitive to stay inside. Well that is my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

Yoga tonight I believe.

CAMAW came to a screeching halt yesterday as I got my hands on a good handful of pretzel pizzeria combos.  Then I had chicken ceasar salad for dinner.  So not too awful, but I just had to have the freakin combos!  

QOTD:  No tattoos for me, I would like a small one, alas, I hate needles.

Need to fill out my menu a bit more, I have some babybels and yogurt in the fridge here, so I will probably add something.  Not sure about dinner, have a wake tonight right after work, so dinner will probably be more leftover chicken.

Mmmm...Combos are the best.

No they really are the devil!  I hate to love them so much!

QOTD: I do have a tattoo... on my upper Left arm... I got it in my early 30's during a bad prescription-drug time of my life. I hate it and have thought about removal. It was a rose with leaves and a vine, but it has all faded.... and looks like a blob on my arm.

I am jealous of your "big rack" I have no rack, maybe a Spice rack but gone are the days of Daisy's double Ds!! LOL LOL

QOTD: no tattoos. Hubby and I have been saying for years now that we are going to get one each... we just procrastinate... I want to design my own and I keep changing my mind, so since I keep changing my mind I don't want something permanent on me and not be sure, maybe that's a good xmas gift idea this year!

Time Since Surgery: 2 yrs & 6 mos

B:  coffee x 2 with splenda &  milk and leftover grilled chicken breast with melted jalapeño cheese on top

L: greek souvlaki chicken skewer with extra feta cheese on top

S: none

D: leftover turkey burger with melted cranberry goat cheese on top - DUDES, had this for dinner last night, it was epic good!! We ran out of eggs (hubby ate the last one for breaky yesterday) so I only had the grilled turkey burger and the cranberry goat cheese BUT it was amazing, tasted like Thanksgiving dinner in a tiny package, see photo below, seriously it was epic yummy!!!

TOTALS: 889 calories, 128 protein, 32 carbs, 53 fat

V/W: vits are done, calcium is on alarms, lots of coffee/tea/water with SF cranberry juice

E: calling for rain again and thunderstorms (all this week actually) so if the rain holds off I will do 5km run after work and then later when the sun starts to set will take the dogs for our hike, this was me and them last night

OMG, that burger.  Get in mah belly!
