Moving to soft foods
So today is 10 days out. I am SO hungry for FOOD! I was reading my surgeon's nutrition info and one page says "liquids for 10 days" and another place says to "start the soft food diet on Day 10". Ha! Guess which one I'm going with? Lol.
Im getting in at least 64 oz of fluid and 60-70 grams of protein a day. But I'm losing quickly - 17 pounds in 10 days. And my body is telling me it is hungry!
So what's your favorite soft food? I'm supposed to eat 1/4 cup 3 times a day. Will that really fill me up? What kind of soft foods kept you full?

BE NOT AFRAID JPII
I feel full on 1/4 cup 3 times per day. It's very hard right now to get a full sensation so I just trust the measurements and wait... And yes I'm satisfied but don't get a full feeling... Just satisfied. One time I did over eat by goi g back for just a little more and it did not feel good at all . my favorite soft foods are ham salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad , ricotta bake ( the world according to egg face" roast beef hash in a can , triple zero yogurt.
In your salads ..... If you don't wanna use mayo ( I use full fat mayo ) you can sub Greek yogurt ) and I use dill relish instead of sweet

A few of my favs... http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/08/puree d-foods.html
Ricotta Bake, Mashed Cheesy Cauliflower, I was allowed soft fish too and that was very satisfying.
My ex husband (a good person and a good cook) made me lots of finely chopped egg salad, chicken salad and tuna salad for my soft foods. I felt full and satisfied, which dense protein will do.
I loved cottage cheese too, but beware the carb content and the slider-ific-ness of it.
Full fat mayo all the way... fat does not make you fat, otherwise we'd all be thin from the low-fat diets we have tried.
