Having issues-Back to Dr
Over the last week I have been having a lot of problems with nausea, dry heaves, dizziness and weakness. I called the doctor and am going back tomorrow afternoon. Hope they can tell me what is going on. I am very frustrated and sad at this point. My husband is worried which makes me feel bad because I don't want him to worry. I have been drinking 64 oz of water most days and pretty close to that amount on the rest. The protein varies between 30 - 50 grams. I just want to feel better.

My surgeon still has me on my acid reflux medication (which I told the nurse was making me also feel nauseated). The stated on the phone that they might need to change my medication to something gentler on my pouch. I am also going to ask about my high blood pressure medications to see if that could be causing my dizziness especially when I bend over.

Goodness... I'm so sorry to hear your having trouble. I hope that your dr can alter your medications and get you feeling better.
I was having trouble with nausea and found that my Pepcid complete is very helpful! It's a chewable .
Let us know what the dr says

All the symptoms you describe are those of dehydration. Just because you reach a certain number doesn't mean it is enough. Drink more. Much more. See if that helps. It can't hurt, and costs nothing to try.

Glad you're being checked out. Could still be dehydration, or a possible ulcer?

Back from the doctor's office. He believes I have an ulcer from the symptoms I told him I was having. He also believes my blood pressure medications are too much for my system now which is causing the dizziness when I bend over and stand back up. He changed my medications all around. He has me on 2 other acid medications to coat my stomache....the one 2x a day and the 2nd 4x a day before meals and at bedtime. He also took me off 1 of my blood pressure medications and reduced the second one by half. He did not want to scope me if he didn't need to. I need to go back in 1 week to see if things have gotten better.

If dizziness is from bending over and standing up, it's orthostatic hypotention. Google it. It's very common postop.
Drink, drink, drink.
