Stuck
Hi everyone I'm Sirena. I'm 19 days post op and stuck now for a week now at the same weight. I lost 20 pounds the first two weeks when I was only doing liquids. Now I'm on soft foods and going back to the gym and I'm stuck. I guess there is part of me that knows this will happen but the illogical part of my brain says I'm doing something wrong. I've been tracking my food and I'm between 800-900 calories a day. I'm not sure though if I'm gettin enough protein. I've been reading your posts about your menus and honestly I am not sure how much protein I'm supposed to be getting. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Thanks all :)

My dietician and dr both have me at 800 calories per day and 60-80grams of protein. I'm 22 days out and lost 12 lbs but that was right after I got home and nothing after . I weigh everyday and don't see any movement in the scale. It gets discouraging even though logically I know I'm doing everything right and it'll come off .

It most likely is the dreaded 3 week stall. I would recommend you start weighing and logging all of your food. That way you know exactly how many calories, carbs, and protein you are eating a day. From my experience I always under estimate my calories and carbs and over estimate my protein when I do it myself.
Every program is different, but my program wants us getting a minimum of 60g of protein a day.
You are in the dreaded 3 week stall, just keep doing what you are doing and the scale will start to move again! Super frustrating, but everyone goes through stalls at some point.
