Yosemite was just so beautiful. Like literally breathtaking. We combined it with a trip to San Fran and it was just an amazing week, in general, but Yosemite was the highlight, for sure. We stayed in little cabins and saw tons of wildlife (including bears!). But every hike was more amazing than the last. There was a waterfall that was probably the prettiest view of ever seen. Highly recommend this trip!

Qubec must have been a GREAT place for a honeymoon! We went there for a family wedding when I was in high school and we did a sightseeing tour and to the place where they make the money (the name is totally escaping me). It was so beautiful, I hope to make it back there at some point!

I'm worth it!
This is a copy and paste of what AV gave me yesterday!
1 c. old fashioned oats
2 medium bananas, mashed
1 c. milk (I used regular whole milk)
1 whole egg
3 egg whites
1/2 c. vanilla protein powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 TB vanilla extract
Mix, bake at 350 in a sprayed 8x8 pan for like 30 minutes? Or, you know, until it's done. LOL I cut it into 9 servings, and according to MFP, it's 122 calories per, with 9 grams of protein and 15 grams of carbs. Not terrible.
Good Morning!
It has been a rough couple days at my house, and I'm trying desperately not to eat my feelings. We took our youngest to his speech evaluation and they think he has severe expressive speech delay. We will start with therapy two times a week and go from there. I surely recognize there are worse things in the world, but it has me totally stressed out. I needed yesterday to sulk, which means I didn't pack my lunch for today or anything. Menu is up in the air, but I'm thinking I'll just walk to our campus cafeteria and hopefully make good decisions.
On a better note, I've been finding low carb recipes that require riced cauliflower, which I find to be be tedious to do. I found out that Trader Joes sells frozen organic riced cauliflower, yes!!
QOTD: I have different favorite vacations for different reasons. In collage me and 2 friends went on a cruise where spent the week pretty much ****ty drunk with a bunch of other people around our age who we met on the cruise. So. Much. Fun. The Disney Cruise we went on 3 years ago was so magical for our oldest son, the pictures and memories are priceless. And every October my husband and I spend a long weekend at my in-laws cabin for his birthday. It's nice because it's just the two of us, and it gives us a chance to reconnect after a busy summer and his work has finally wound down.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Ooooh, I love cruising! I haven't been on one in years, but I have very fond memories. LOL I love how at the beginning of the cruise you feel like the staff is hawking you but by the end you're like "where's my drink?!".
