It's actually not powder, but RTD.  Hope that doesn't upset you.

Does it have lactose?

Just keep in mind people are responding to your whole post, not part of it.

You mentioned that you wanted to lose some weight that you regained & you want to try protein shakes that you might like. You didn't get unsolicited advice, you got advice that you asked for. If you didn't want it, don't ask.

I never found a shake I liked. I drank the click coffee one with lots of ice.

I do have protein bars around for times when I am just too tired to think about food.  I also keep them in my car to keep the car from turning into a drive-through. I just ordered a box of every flavor Quest bars from Amazon.

Hmmm, protein bars are a thought.  I haven't found any of those I particularly care for either, but I haven't tried Quest bars. Thanks!

I wouldn't say that I love them but they do give me 20 gms of protein and about 1/2 the fiber you need a day and they fill me up. Many drugstores and grocery stores sell them. They are about $2.50/bar. To me they are much tastier than any protein shake and they are easy to stash.

Love it when clueless people support clueless people.  I had surgery when my son was 11 months old.  I managed to eat food as I have never drank a protein shake.

Nothing to offer you on which shakes you might like but just thought I'd boast about what an awesome mother I was - caring for a nursing baby while eating!!

Good luck with the regain and the snotty attitude.

Both The Vitamin Shoppe and GNC will let you return protein powder if you don't like them. 30 days with receipt. GNC you get a refund, Vitamin shoppe a store credit. By me, Vitamin shoppe seems to have a much bigger selection.

Best to go with Whey Protein Isolate. It is the best absorbed. Quest's first ingredient is whey protein isolate but it is not 100%.

I do like the Inspire line on bariatricEating.com, I find them very tasty, and they are whey isolate.

I bought a shaker bottle called "Blender Bottle' the 16oz size. I find it perfect. 8oz fairlife milk or cashew milk, powder. and shake. Blends well and the top really snaps close, no leaking.
