What's your favorite protein powder?
Protein Shakes. Check out Nashua Nutrition. The site isn't the best but they offer dozens of powders in a sample size. I tried about 24! I'm a big "combo" maker. Currently, my fav is 1/2 scoop of Syntrax Matrix Peanut Butter Cookie, with 1/2 scoop of Isopure Chocolate, two tablespoons of Torani Sugar Free Salted Caramel Syrup. I make this either with 8 ozs of Almond Milk or 4 oz of 1% Milk and 4oz of water. Shake it up. Then add about four to six ice cubes. Shake again.
Other Combos:
Banana Cream and Chocolate
Banana Cream and Peanut Butter
Premier RTD Strawberry with Isopure Chocolate.
Cinnamon Bun and Banana Cream or Peanut Butter
My other combo "go to" is frozen cherries (about 10 or 12), 8 ozs of some type of fluid (almond milk, milk/water), Scoop of Isopure Vanilla, and 2 tablespoons of Sugar Free Torani Syrup Black Cherry. This tastes just like a Cherry Milkshake... I've even put in the freezer for a bit... not too long... so it would thicken up.
Other shake favorites: Metabolic's Butter Pecan Cookie. Syntrax's Mint Chocolate, Quest's Salted Caramel - tho it is VERY sweet.
Do a bit of experimentation. Try the flavors and be creative with the combos. I found the samples helpful because it wasn't a big commitment. Although... that initial order was pretty daunting. LOL
Good Luck.
As far as powdered drinks go, I like the Quest Salted Caramel best. However, so many people don't like that it's VERY difficult to blend... but I'm a weirdo (goes without saying)... I like it clumpy! It's kinda like eating/drinking cake batter - yum!! But that's just me... most people do NOT like that part.
I have the Quest Vanilla, too - it blends much better than the Salted Caramel... sometimes I mix them half and half and add in some PB2. I also don't use ice, just Cashew Milk and a just a shaker bottle. If I let it sit for about an hour, it gets pretty smooth... but I don't. Gimme clumpies any day!
My surgeon designed his own line of protein shakes, and he sells them all in sample size, I think they're pretty good. Chocolate Decadence is my favorite, but this link will give you a sample of all the flavors to try for yourself for $5 with free shipping:
The profits go to the Children's Obesity Foundation, too.
