What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Super busy weekend! I spent all day Saturday at a CPL training course. I had a blast, and my hubby and I are seriously thinking of maybe getting into competitive shooting. But that would mean I would need a new weapon, the replica 1911 .22 is pretty clunky. I will say that my instructor called me a sniper at the range. Mind you, I'm firing a .22 that weighs 2lbs, so it has very little recoil, but whatever! I love looking at my target after, lol.
Yesterday we bought a new patio set and I finally got my garden planter box set up and got some veggies planted. I also got 2 blueberry bushes in along the fence line. It's my dream to eat the blueberries next year, but realistically I'll be feeding all the critters. I saw the bunnies hopping out of my broken down old shed this morning. We also have racoon, groundhogs, skunks and deer that are seen munching on the local flora.
I know I'm going to be a spoil sport, but I'm backing out of CAMAW this week. Not because I don't beleive in CAMAW, but because I screwed up and didn't pack for it. Maybe I'll just start a day late, hmmm. Anyway, the only thing that is messed up is my lunch, everything else falls into line.

B: 1 egg, 1oz turkey sausage, 1 slice velveeta and coffee with cream and splenda, though I'm starting to suspect that they may have given me the wrong coffee and this is a sugary one because it tastes so much yummier. Hmmmm.
L: ham and cheese on 1/2 a flatout with mustard and onions, a dill pickle
D: pork loin in the slow cooker with some sort of orange ginger sauce my hubby picked up.
S: light and fit greek yogurt

I have a half a day at work today because I have therapy at 1 (thank goodness, been dealing with some anxiety issues) then I have the dermatologist this afternoon and i really, really need to see her again. Shark week has be a mess.
Concealed Pistol License. I probably won't ever actually carry concealed, but I really enjoyed the training. I've taken a gun safety class when we decided to get handguns, to be safe. But this last course was really more about home defense and self defense, than safety. Well, it was about being safe while being able to defend yourself if needed.
CAMAW is happening. Rough start to the week unrelated but feeling meaty.
B: Cheese stick
S: Cheese stick
L: Left over sirloin steak
D: Hamburger patty with cheese

Sorry about the Migraine.... I used to get multi-day ones too...and it stinks...
Bring on CAMAW! Funny AMAW and CAMAW both have fallen a couple of weeks after surgeries for me, and also after weddings. SO yes Wedding Palooza weekend is over, it was great, love my family.... Ate daily desserts...yup. and they were good. Makes me realize though why I need these Boards...can't fall into daily celebrations. Up three pounds this AM, but still in my 'happy place' range. SO as I said bring on CAMAW to get back on track.
You wanted the pics, you got them!
Before and Now... 5 years ago on my son's wedding. I felt beautiful that day and this in no ways takes away from How special that moment was. Shows the transformation well I think.
So there they are in all their glory!
