What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
I haven't been online much lately but may I ask what your symptoms are? My sister has been having stomach problems for a while. She is 7 yrs out RNY. Thinking she may have ulcer or something but all the test are coming back good. which is good but she throws up a lot & has stomach pains...To be honest with you she is not really educated on food, diet, RNY, etc. I think she thinks bc she had suregery so long ago that the rules don't apply to her. For instance she takes ibuprofen & has never supplemented protein shakes, hasn't always taken her vitamins..
anyways they did say her iron was low...iron pills made her stomach worse so she stopped..but she is continuing to vomit.
Any info would be appreciated :)
Well I just cant tolerate dense protein, when I eat it, no matter how much I chew I get pretty instant SLIME and I have to vomit until its all out or I am miserable for hours and hours after. But nothing is wrong with my pouch, I just can't tolerate meat right now I guess.
Good morning! Sorry to hear about the prolonged migraine, AV. If it happens again, there are some effective rescue medications available - I use sumatriptan (Imitrex), but Amerge and Zomig seem to work well for others.

Aww, sorry you've felt bad, we missed you! I can't do CAMAW yet, but on the next round I'm in! Weighed this morning, still nothing. This is a week. I read 45 posts about the 3 week stall, so I'm not panicking, just bleh.
