Hey Everyone

I saw on the grocery list thread a lot of you do the lunch meat roll ups.  I use to do this years ago but was afraid of all the negative reports of the connection to lunch meat and colon cancer.  Do you guys have a brand you feel safe eating?  Do you do organic?  What do you eat, as I want to do this again. LOVED IT!

Thanks

I only do all natural or organic because I have a family history of stuff like that and it kinda scares me.

I had one of "those" test and DO NOT EVER want another so I want to make sure I stay clear of those factors.  I will check Costco next time to see if they carry organic. I know it's usually very expensive so we shall see.

Thanks!

Shop sales too and freeze lunchmeat in portions so you can keep it if you need to...I've done that before.

I don't limit myself and usually just get Sara Lee brand at the deli counter because it always seems to be on sale.  Though, I have had Boarshead before and that was DELICIOUS.  I believe that would be what you are looking for.

I love deli meats and gave them up because of the negatives.

I don't eat them every day, but it seems like a good thing for CAMAW. My nut says that given the small amount we eat and the infrequency of it on my menu, it's not anything to worry about.

I have also been told that the small amount of lunch meat we eat would not cause any harm.  I guess it's just a personal choice as to what you want to risk?  I eat lunch meat about once a week and I just eat turkey or ham - whatever looks good at the deli counter :)

Boar's Head has FANTASTIC meats. MMM. Haven't eaten any lately. haha. I saw a commercial the other day for a chicken teriyaki though that looked delish, would have to check the sugar content on that one.

I always thought that the lunch meat that they were talking about was like bologna and that sort of meat not the ham, roast beef and chicken type
