Hi everyone.  I am posting late today as usual.  I had lots of meetings this morning, and I finally have time to some quality posting.  Thanks for getting us started today Deanna.  You always do such a good job keeping us together.

This is going to be a busy weekend.  Tonight I have a party at a mansion that was recently restored.  It was slated for demo, but the community went collectively nuts at the thought and started a foundation to save it.  It was successful and now the house is ready for its unveiling.  Then tomorrow morning I am driving to the beach for an overnighter.  The weather is supposed to be rainy, but I love the beach no matter what the weather is.  In fact, I love it when it is stormy out!

QOTD:  My favorite NSV was when I stepped onto a plane for the first time and was able to fit in the seat with ease, and fasten the seat belt without fear.  I love to travel, but I used to approach airplanes with dread.  I carried my own seat belt extender with me in order to avoid the humiliation of having to ask for one, and obsessed about the seat I was in, who was sitting next to me, etc.  It is amazing to just get on a plane without all of the stress. It is life changing.

I've been inspired by everyone's before and after photos.  Here is mine.

Hey MA. Did u see my post your last photo Friday?  You are a ringer for actress Deirdre Lovejoy. I had to look her up on IMDB. She was on The Wire but has a million credits since then.  I think you're her look-alike. Love the NSV.

Friday...how I do love thee!

QOTD: Wow...so many. I think the most meaningful one for me so far is realizing at 10pm that I was still up and around doing dishes and such in my kitchen one night.  I stopped mid dish and realized that I never had any energy to do things around the house in the evening after work for more than a max of 30 minutes or an hour.  Just enough to manage to make dinner and then I was on the couch with my feet up.  My knees and feet hurt so badly by evening that there just wasn't anything else I was up to.  But there I was...totally unaware of the lateness of the hour, had been running around all day at work and then kept right on going that evening. No pain in my feet or knees at all! I cried like a baby.

B: Greek yogurt (going to miss this next week for CAMAW), Cheese cubes

S: Grapes and blueberries (1 cup)

L: Brisket (3oz) and 1/3 of a baked potato dry

I so can relate to your NSV.  It is amazing to me that so many daily activities that I used to fret over are now effortless, and I don't even think about it.  Going up stairs, doing work around the house, walking long distances, etc.  And the things I have stopped doing.  I no longer scan a room to see if I am the fattest one in it.  Or size up a chair or booth in a restaurant to make sure I'll fit.  And don't even get me started on cheap plastic outdoor furniture.  These things don't even cross my mind any more, and that in itself is remarkable!
