My favorite NSV so far is being able to keep up with my two sons. It is amazing how much more I am able to do with them, and it has improved our relationship tremendously. No more sideline mom here. :)

 

Time since surgery:14 months

 

Breakfast: Protein coffee and light cheese stick

Lunch: 3 oz grilled chicken and 1/3 cup roasted brussel sprouts

Dinner: Not sure yet. I am thinking it will be this amazing chicken and spinach salad from my favorite restaurant.

snack: Protein shake and maybe another cheese stick if needed.

Picture of the day is just a random selfie, but I can't help it because I am obsessed with my new hat. I think I may seriously need help with my newly enhanced shopping addiction :)

Good for you hitting the gym in the AM....it just sets the tone for the day does it not. And I find I am more in tune with bad eating.  It's kinda like what a waste of all that hard work if I eat that!!!!!

Breakfast - turkey sausage egg scramble

Snack - protein shake

Lunch - chicken salad

Dinner - Steak

Snack - cheese

I don't have my menu ready to post, I haven't rolled out of bed yet.  I took a sleeping pill last night and finally slept!  Now if my miralax would work.... 

NSV,... This may be weird. Last weekend I went shopping with a friend at a high end outdoor shopping mall and we were walking down the street and I started to cry. I felt so normal, I told her I am just one of the crowd. Not sticking out, having people move to the side(cuz they had to), looking at me. I just wasn't different. It was almost a relief.
