What's on your (Photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning,
It's going to be a beautiful day and I can't wait to get outside and take a walk at lunch.
QOTD: Favorite NSV's - Being able to walk up a flight (or tow or three) of stairs without huffing and puffing, having enough energy after work to take a walk, shop, or another activity, wanting to work out, not dreading it or not working out at all, being comfortable in theater seats instead of squished and in pain, buying stylish clothes instead of something that just fits, wearing brighter colors and prints instead of just black, navy, grey, etc.
Time since surgery: 13 months
B: 2 eggs, coffee w/cream
s: Protein Shake
L: Mixed greens, turkey, cheddar cheese, homemade viniagrette
D: Chicken, broccoli
S: Babybel, Mary's gone crackers
Looking forward to CAMAW/Critter next week.
Good morning. Well I'm 5 days post op and I have to say the main nsv at this point is my total disinterest in food. My husband had a plate of tacos last night and while they looked good, I had zero desire to eat them.
I'm off to the surgeon today. I'm having excruciating pain whenever I touch my drain. The surgeon thinks it's creating suction in my lower abdomen and will probably remove the drain today. That or I'm giving birth, lol.
I put my food into MFP and here's how it looks:
Calories: 510 Carbs: 30 Protein: 70
I'm having two protein shakes with 2% milk which brought my calories up.

QOTD: There are two NSVs that are tired for 1st place: Exercising/being able to move my body and clothes shopping. I love running daily and going to the gym. I was crazy sedentary before WLS and now going clothes shopping is a dream come true, I can shop anywhere!
