What's on your (Photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Yesterday at work at about 4:30 I became ravenously hungry. yesterday was really a big pouch kinda day. So, I was feeling kinda panicky because my pouch actually hurt it felt so hungry. I drank almost a whole diet lipton iced tea in half an hour and the feeling went away. I just think I have to start pushing fluids when I feel that hunger, because I have a hard time differentiating hunger and thirst.

Yay for Friday! I am not usually so done by the end of the week...but this one has really taken a toll on me.
Grim asked me to share with you all that the reason he's been MIA, is due to family illness. His elderly (and very lovely) mom suffered a serious health setback last weekend and we have been on pins and needles while she's undergone surgery. She has pulled through against tough odds, already. All your good thoughts for him and his family are appreciated!
QOTD: Shopping is my favorite NSV! I love clothes and fashion and it was so upsetting to have to shop in the fat girl section. As God is my witness--I will never wear elastic waisted pants again!
Here is a before/after inspired by a friend sending me that before pic, last week. Yikes.
B: Fit Frappe Mocha & Trader Joe's Cold Brew Coffee with Skim Milk and Splenda
S: Mixed Berry Greek Yogurt
L: Salad with shaved Parmesan and 2 oz rib-eye
S: Mr. Cheese Os
D: Meat!? I'll let Mr. Hag decide...

Clothes are such an awesome NSV!
Please send my thoughts and prayers to Grim and his family. I knew something had to be going on for him to disappear so completely. I'm glad that things are looking better for his mother.
honestly, about 15 minutes ago I found out that my Step dad has been in the hospital for 2 days and my mother never told anyone. he's being released today, but they thought he had a heart attack. Turns out that it wasn't a heart attack, but he had fluid built up around his heart that has been addressed. I'm actually a bit angry at my mom for not letting me know. She's done this before when she was in the hospital for something and I found out when I called her about something.

10+ years post op, living & loving life!
One of the attorneys in my office has started wearing "dress" yoga pants. They literally look like pants from a suit, (with pockets and belt loops, etc.) made out of yoga pant material. She's trying to get me to order a pair. I'm having a hard time placing the order. I wore yoga pants for so long because nothing else fit . . . I can't bring myself to go back there. But they are cute and look SOOOOO comfortable!
Here you go! They are really nice. She was wearing them with a dressier top and they looked totally professional. You'd never know they were yoga pants. She keeps walking into the female attorneys' offices and doing the splits!
