What's on your (Photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Oh AngryViking, where are you? Anyway, I'm impatient today so I'm starting the thread. Not much to really talk about other than a freaking AWESOME workout this morning. I seriously always feel better when I work out, but I can't go everyday because I need to give my hubby the opportunity to go.
He came home from work on Wednesday evening sick. He admitted to me that he had been overeating in the last week when he was on the road, and that he'd put back on over 5lbs in a week in a half. For all I knew he was still doing well, and he was pretty upset with himself. I totally get where he is coming from, and I know that he hadn't said anything before because he was hiding it from me. I have those very same tendencies. We've really got the same problems with food. I'm going to make a point to have a dialog everyday, so we both keep eachother in the loop. He tells me that my success has been an inspiration to him and that he really wants to make the changes, so if we talk about it daily then maybe it will be easier for both of us to resist temptation. I know he's got it really hard because he is on the road all the time. I wonder how well I'd do in that situation.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
Good Morning!
The picture is of me and my son last week reading stories in his lofted bed. I could never get up there with him - besides exceeding the weight limit, it was physically impossible for me to climb the ladder to get up there. I actually can go down the slide to get down too!
Tonight we are attending a silent auction for my son's school, it was a lot of fun last year. But, I am so bad about buying gift certificates and never using them. I just HAD to win a day at a Clydesdale farm for my son last year. Haven't used it. I'm also bad about buying Groupons and never using them either. Saturday we have LEGO meetup in the morning, and then hopefully we will head to the zoo or somewhere outside to take advantage of the beautiful weather we are supposed to have!
QOTD: Being able to play with my kids more is definitely my favorite NSV. Also, being able to go on the kayaking trip with my husband in St Thomas for our anniversary.
Time Since Surgery: 14 Months
B: Hardboiled Egg & Cheese Stick
L: Chicken Skewer, Greek Yogurt Dip, and a sliced Roma tomato
S: Snack Pack Medley
D: TBD - auction is at a restaurant
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm worth it!
I have 3 groupons that I need to use. We're going for our CPL class tomorrow, then I have dance lessons and concert tickets. Actually, I have two sets of concert tickets. I'm seeing the I love the 90's in August and then I'm taking my kid to see Slayer, Anthrax and Death Angel in September. I will actually enjoy both shows, lol.
