What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?
Good morning everyone. How exciting for your son, Deanna. I'm a big supporter of international travel for young people. It is a life changing experience.
QOTD: I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively to many countries. I worked on a cruise ship for 3 years after I graduated from college, and I caught the travel bug at that time. I've been to most of the Caribbean, Mexico, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, Italy, Spain, Hawaii and Panama. I once stayed in this tiny town called Gimmelwald in Switzerland. You have to take a tram to get to it, and it is literally on the side of a mountain in the Alps. Incredibly beautiful.

Good morning! It's Monday #4 and then it's FINALLY Friday tomorrow, I can't wait. I'm so burnt out on work right now.
I stepped on the scale this morning and was horrified, there's NO WAY I gained that much weight, I'm chalking it up to my period, but I am tightening up the menu, just in case.
QOTD: I used to go scuba dive in Cozumel all the time, that's as exotic as I have gotten.
B: 1/4 cup of fat free cottage cheese
L: 2 slices of smoked turkey and a slice of swiss cheese
S: Lite and Fit vanilla Greek yogi
D: something meat or soup
I signed up for one of those meal delivery services (like Blue Apron) and I get my first box today, I'm curious to see how this works out.

Curious how Blue Apron is...WLS friendly?

It can be, a lot of the meals (you pick what you want) are very protein centric. Salmon, steak, chicken, burgers... I cook most of them for other people, though. Tomorrow I'm making flat iron steak with a blue cheese sauce.
You can get coupons for them, the service I'm using right now is actually called "Home Chef", it was rated higher than Blue Apron and I had a $30 off coupon. Definitely find the coupon ones.
I'm pretty cheap -definitely not rich, and I think the services are a rip without the discount.
Morning all!
Been insane in my world this week. Feels like it is Tuesday still. Thursday? Really?? Got my leg veins worked out. All clear from the doctor. Basically he said the 'roped' looking vein had likely been 'roped' all along but that I hadn't been able to see it due to my weight. Pain is all better with just elevating and ice. All is well.
QOTD: Alaska! Sooooooo beautiful. I can't even describe. Love it there. Every time we visit (3 times so far) I tell my hubby I found a job and want to move. Then he reminds me we only visit in the summer and that winter would try to kill us. Highly recommend going if you get the chance.
B: Greek yogurt
S: Cheese stick
L: Grapes, blueberries, cheese cubes
D: Sliced deli chicken, cherry tomatoes, and avocado (Making sausage and dirty rice for the fam so will forage and I think I have those in the fridge)
Numbers: No clue. Haven't put it into My FitnessPal yet. Too busy making up for missing two days of work. Wheeee!

It sure looked like it could be a clot except I didn't have any swelling. Glad to know it wasn't. Hope you have a great day!
