What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?

Much better, thanks! It is just one tendon that stretches from my toe up to my shin. It feels sort of strained, and only actually hurts on stairs at this point. It's weird but I think it feels better in heels than flats! Is that a thing?

It is a thing, and I promise you, not a good thing. Wore heels for 6-8 weeks after hurting myself. When I tried to stop wearing heels, the tendon had contracted and I ended up with planters fascitis, cortizone shots, and wearing orthotics for a year to straighten it out. It was a mess. If you wear heel make sure you are gently stretching it the opposite way.

Oh crap... Ok, I'm going to suck it up and wear flats tomorrow. Thanks!

I'm with you on the "eating your feelings" thing. I'm out of control right now. I've created a pre-surgery "bucket list" of all the things I want to eat before i have to do the pre-op diet. I didn't even do that before my VSG. What's on the list? Crap . . . nothing but crap. But I can't seen to stop myself from doing it. My surgeon is going to kill me if I gain weight before the conversion surgery

I have only 1 thing that I have to have before surgery, but I am waiting for them to give me a date first, I need to have a fried seafood platter, just once more!

OMG, this month seems to be bringing us all down...
I had a revision from band to bypass 10 months ago. I totally get the fear and the last meal syndrome... Hang in there. Try to resist!

I had a rough food day the other day...work stress as well. We are in crunch mode to finalize the annual budget, whi*****ludes bags of M & Ms, skittles, donuts, ice cream, etc. around the office. So easy to grab a handful of M & Ms (at least I opted for the peanut ones). Fortunately, I skipped the donuts and ice cream, so it wasn't all bad. I really want to be sure I don't fall into those old habits of mindlessly grabbing food, that isn't even all that enjoyable. Hope you have a better day today.
