Is there anything similar to insure nutrition

I'm getting ready to have my surgery next month. With it coming I was hoping I could get approved through Insure Nutrition, however, because of my insurance they cant. I was wondering if anyone else had any experience in this and had any input on it. Other programs or something similar that I could try applying for to get protein drinks, etc.

I have no idea what you plan says, but mine say no nutritional meal replacements are covered.

But, my surgeon suggests boost high protein for women. Boost for men. Ensure can be subbed for either of those. And finally, glucerna for diabetics.

Its worth asking your surgeon.

I have paramount advantage which is why insure nutrition won't do it as its Medicaid that's why I was searching for other programs/services similar that way I could try to apply ahead of time. I do plan on speaking with the surgeon but figured here might be a good place to start.

I never tried Insure Nutrition that advertises on here, but from the comments people have left on other posts, they say it is a scam. They bill your insurance for expensive scar cream and that is how they cover the protein....

I doubt it.  What they are doing is highly questionable, and is likely insurance fraud since they charge your insurance for expensive scar cream (which is ridiculous for people who have lap surgery... I have no idea why the insurance company approves the purchase of scar cream in these cases!) and then they give away the supplements.

The insurance policies that cover the cream almost never cover the supplements. I have a,ways wondered what happens when someone is 4 months out and they are still billing insurance for scar cream.  I would think that would throw up a huge red flag at the insurance company.
