Surgery Date 7/11/2016 Potein Shakes and Popsicles
I LOVE the Premier Protein shakes, I get them at Costco. Even though I'm back to pretty "normal" food now I still have one for lunch instead of eating....I tend to forget about eating these days since I never feel hungry.
Rockin' Refuel tasted good but they were too thick, I had to water them down.
Whatever you do drink them ICE COLD. Refrigerated is okay, but I found that putting them in a shaker cup with ice makes them better. Putting them in the blender with a lot of ice and making them milk shake consistency is AWESOME!

I buy my RTD Protein Shakes at Walmart -my NUT suggested ISOPURE and ATKINS LYFT for the clear days (yuck!) and the much maligned Premier Protein for others. I also get my sugar free popsicles at Walmart. Sometimes I can find them at Aldi.
I bought Chicken flavored protein powder from UNJURY, and that was GREAT! for me for the clear liquids days. Also, when I was allowed mashed potatoes, I'd add a spoonful to them to kick up the flavor impact a bit and I loved it.
I bought Jay Robb Protein Powders from Vitamin Shoppe too. I'm not one to do much experimenting yet with various shakes but I do enjoy half a scoop of vanilla powder in my Cream of Wheat a couple times a week.
