What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
QOTD: My Birthday is in July, So there is often a heat wave on my Birthday and I remember as a kid, all the fall clothes would be in the stores already...so I would get a sweater when it was 100+ degrees out. Yay?? Most memorable Birthday was when I was 16.I was on a traveling camp for 6 weeks that took you through the west and up into Canada. We slept out in Parks and stuff under the stars for 6 weeks. No tents.
On my Birthday we were in the Canadian Rockies near Lake Louise, camping up in the Mountains. A small group of us went hiking and there were these two lakes kind of on top of/next to each other. we climbed through this hidden rocky passage to get to the upper lake. It was still covered half in ice on July 25th and you could still see the snow on the mountaintops. We decided to go skinny dipping. (Girls and Boys separate, this was camp) I remember jumping in the water and it was so cold, all we did was scream and jump out....remember still ice? Well we were all screaming and carrying on, and then we started to hear this thunderous noise, and looked up and watched an avalanche happen on the snow peaked mountain top. It was so cool and awesome.

Morning AV! I have the blahs today, like seriously. I had a really, really bad anxiety attack yesterday and I didn't know what set it off. It was so bad that I had to leave the room when my hubby was wrestling with the baby because the noise had me jumping out of my skin. I haven't had a really bad anxiety attack like that in a long while, so it was horrible. Anyway, this morning I woke up to the second coming of Jaws. Yes, that's right, shark week has arrived. It was right on time, but this one is a doozy. I feel horrible emotionally and physically I feel like someone has run me over with a truck. I have a mild tension headache and I'm just too tired for words even though I slept almost 8 hours last night. The computer screen here at work is hurting my eyes and I'm wish I would have brought my sunglasses. Damn 27" monitors are just too much.
QOTD: Historically birthdays have always been kinda meh for me. I honestly never had a birthday party growing up. I was the middle child in a lower middle class family and we didn't get a lot of extra special stuff. Once my parents divorced when I was 13 we were poor (single mom on welfare) and you guys can guess the amount of birthday celebrations we had then, lol. I remember when I turned 21. My mom decided to take me out dancing and drinking, and a bunch of my friends all went. Guess who had to drive all the drunk idiots home? Yep, me. My mom got wasted and I had to drive her home on MY 21st birthday, lol. My first husband was an incosiderate douche and didn't really ever do anything special for me, ever. Now, my current husband has been wonderful with lots of nice gifts, etc. and his mother does a birthday dinner for ever kid (including me) but I've never had a real party, surprise or other. Maybe I'll hint around and when I turn 50 I'll get one. That's only 7 years away.

I just took two tylenol hoping it will make my headache go away, but I don't have much faith that it will. Hoping that the blahs go away very quickly.
Buy some peppermint oil and put it on your temples and the back of your neck, or anywhere that hurts. Just don't get it near your eyes. It can do wonders for aches and pains, and since ibuprofen is "out" now, it will be my #1 go to. Feel better!
