This will certainly be a long week for me. A new department head was sworn in this morning, and another administrative person was brought in too. No one has said she'd be my boss-- but I think its just a matter of time .

My weekend was ok nothing new or exciting. I'm trying to iron out summer plans. We can't really afford a full-fledged vacation to somewhere, will have to make do with a long weekend or or two.

QOTD- Currently I'm using a Colgate sensitive- after my last check up my teeth were super sensitive-- its gradually getting better. I'm leery of going back to that dentist because they were 'rough' and the sensitivity was triggered by the visit.

Time since surgery: 1 year

M1: egg beaters, turkey sausage crumbles, shredded cheese

M2: Turkey meatballs, in sauce w. ricotta & mozzarella

M3: ?? I may run to the market on lunch-- open to ideas

snack- apple

Good morning.  AV, I agree . . . I already know it's going to be a looooooooonnnnnngggg week.  Not looking forward to it one bit.

I'm also having a problem with terrible food choices . . . I think, since I'm going to be on food restriction for a while, and I don't know how my new anatomy is going to handle things, that I'm giving myself license to EAT.  It needs to stop because I want to go into this surgery as healthy and strong as possible.  Apparently, ice cream is the new "In" dessert in LA . . . there are 4 new ice cream stores that opened recently near me, all made on site in small batches, etc. etc. etc.  Guess who had ice cream last night?  We got 3 different flavors in small cups: Coffee and donuts, salted caramel and bananas foster . . . (btw, I totally blame the ice cream on Mamata2!).  Here's to better choices today.

KQOTD:  Crest 3D White in Radiant Mint

B: Turkey, pesto and cheese, 6 blackberries

L: Tri tip, broccoli

D: Hamburger patty, grilled onions, cheese

S: Light and Fit; 10 cherries; latte made with 4 oz of fair life milk

Totals: Cal: 974; Protein: 101g; Fat: 47g; Carbs: 40g

NO ICE CREAM!

Hi Everyone

Yep, weekend didn't go well eating wise. I need a big kick in the butt!  Maybe the challenge will help get my butt moving.  Speaking of the coming week, I am bummed already as they are saying it's going to be even hotter this summer than last and we had so many 100 degree days. I hate running the AC as it's so expensive. In the 90's this week ugh!  Going to "try" and eat well and go to the gym.  We shall see

Have a GREAT day everyone
