Morning Gang, here are are again... Monday well let's do this together, we can make it to Friday right!!
I hear you loud and clear AV... and for me its not so much bad choices as for me its in the evenings I want to snack, that snack monster has been rearing its ugly head for a while now. I have been keeping myself super busy to try and combat it, but I so want to cave in and eat a big bag of Cool Ranch Doritos!! LOL LOL Damn you head hunger!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I am letting my head take over, I am not really hungry but I seem to "want" to eat. I am going to go back to "AMAW" type eating as of tomorrow. Just protein for my meals, no veggies or any extras, see if I can "reset" my head. I am sending you lots and lots of strength, you can do this girl!!!!!!!!!
QOTD: We use Crest 3D White "Vivid", its works great, but I actually prefer the taste of Colgate over Crest. Crest was on sale at Walmart, so once its done will go back to the Colgate Optic White like you.

Tonight I am going to vacuum and dust our master bedroom again, our allergies, both hubby & the dogs are off the charts so trying to keep the house as dust free as possible. Oh and making a second batch of banana bread, I made one yesterday evening, guess what I forgot the baking soda, yup that sucker looked like a banana brick, it was hilarious, and went right in the garbage! Hubby was so upset, he says to me "but I was so looking forward to some banana bread with butter and a cup of tea" LOL LOL

I totally get that crappy carb, head hunger thing. This weekend I dived into a bag of baked Lay's potato chips. Why oh why did I even buy them? Well, Oscar the Pouch had the last laugh. The chip**** my pouch and did not even stick around to say "hello." They immediately shot right back out. I barely made it to the bathroom before they spewed (too descriptive?). Ugh. Never again!

Yep!! That is what happened when I tried those darn salt and vinegar chips last week!! Right back out!!!!!!
I totally feel you AV. Monday's suck! Though, I'm feeling pretty damn awesome since my work out this morning about killed me. Muscle Monday's are just rough while I'm doing them, but afterwards I feel pumped. I had 1/2 a protein shake after my workout and while it adds a few more calories than I would like, I think I'll do it regularly to help with the muscle repair. or just because they taste yummy, lol. I got my pushups in this weekend!
I was also horrible this weekend. I ate an everything bagel with cream cheese for breakfast on Saturday morning. We went and saw Captain America: Civil War, which was freaking awesome! i wore my Cap hoodie, then gave it to my oldest afterwards since it's way too big now. I ate half a small popcorn and a hotdog with no bun for lunch. Then on Sunday I went out shopping at Great Lakes Crossing (outlet mall on steroids) and had Chicken Teriyaki with no rice and a cheese rangoon, and another small popcorn on the way home. I am officially banning myself from popcorn starting today. Until I get to my goal weight, I will not have anymore popcorn.
As for the QOTD: I'm not even sure what kind it is, my hubby is the toothpaste picker in the house. I just use it, but I will say that when we first met we used to have 2 different kinds because he likes the baking soda stuff and that makes me gag. I believe we are using some sort of Crest Whitening, maybe with little flecks of breath strips in it? Meh, I don't know.
Early Saturday morning I was up with my toddler, who apparently doesn't know how to sleep past 4:30am on the weekends, and my scale showed that I was finally in the Overweight BMI! I met (and of this morning, exceeded) my doctors goal weight. Feels good! Just 28 more to lose to hit my goal.
Plan:
9.5 months since surgery
B: 1/2 scoop Quest Banana Cream protein in 8oz of unsweetened almond milk. 1 egg, 1oz sausage, 1 slice of velveeta and coffee with cream and splenda.
L: 3oz turkey deli meat, mayo and a slice of velveeta on 1/2 a light flat out wrap with a pickle
D: boneless chicken breast with steamed cauliflower
S: light and fit Greek
Totals:
Calories 726 Protein 88 carbs 34 fat 29
I'm looking forward to CAMAW next week. I really, really need the carb reset. Also, just FYI, I've lost 4% of my body weight since 4/15. We're doing a weight loss challenge and work and I'm logging weekly. I'm in 9th place in the company and I'm starting to get suspicious of the guy who is always #1 in every challenge. When we did the steps challenge it looked like he was running 15+ miles every day, and now he's lost 7% of his body weight in a month? I think he's fudging the numbers, because that doesn't seem right, lol. (yes, I'm just a bit catty about it)
