Liquid diet, so hungry

Pizza is soooooo over rated !!!!!!    LOL

Keep singing that Kelly Clarkson song to yourself "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....stand a little taller............."

I found hunger lessened after a few days.  Constant eating was such a habit for me at the pre liquid phase.  I remember being shocked of how little a person could eat, and still function quite normally!!!!

Then after returning home from the hospital, I had no hunger...just fear that everything that went in my mouth would somehow hurt me.... But it didn't.

You've just stepped onto a crazy roller coaster .....its scary....its thrilling........it tests all your strengths and weaknesses..........uuuppp and dooowwwn .......and before you know it you will throwing your arms are up in the air,  feeling as free as a bird, smiling ear to ear til it hurts.  YUP.........Its an AWESOME RIDE !!!!!!

Hang in there....you will do GREAT !!!!!

It is a roller coaster ride. I feel like I have the red pill/blue pill being offered to me by Morpheus in the Matrix.

I am 2 months post-op and I rarely feel hungry. In fact I have to remind myself to eat.  The only time I seem to feel hungry is when I get a whiff of something cooking but it passes very quickly.

Hang in there.  The pre-op diet was tough for the first several days but it does get better.  I ate a lot of sugar free jello!

You will be so happy once the tough parts are over.

I am 10 weeks out and said the exact same thing on here when I was on my liquid diet. Someone on here said this to me and I live by it everyday. "Don't give up before the miracle". What you are going through now is the hardest of this entire transition. It's an amazing feeling once you've had the surgery! Stick with it! You can do it!!!

I'm having surgery on Monday too! And I had to start a liquid diet on Friday... this is now Saturday night, and I'm pretty sure my husband and kids are afraid to say a word to me... I'm cranky, and I'm HUNGRY.

LOL

This will pass, and soon we will be on the loser's bench!

Hang in there!!! (and I will try to as well)
