Someone told me that Sam's will let you have a one-day membership for free twice a year. I called my local one and they didn't have the banana shake so I didn't bother even going.

Morning everyone.

I broke my arm when I was 10 or so, swinging on a clothesline like a monkey. A very inept monkey, apparently.

AV: I don't care if you break your foot or your arm, or whether you get a concussion or a spinal cord injury. YOU MAKE IT TO THAT ICE CREAM TRUCK. That is all.

Happy Thursday, or as I like to call it, Friday-but-one. Tonight will be fun.  I have a dear friend coming in from LA to visit for a few weeks. I am sure it will be an adventure to have her motivating me to go walking and drink water.  During her last visit she managed to get me to really drink as much water as I am supposed to in a day...each day.  Californians apparently are all abou****er and health. Should be good times!

QOTD: Yes.  I broke a little bone in the side of my foot about 12 years ago. How? Funny you should ask.  I broke it while drunken polka dancing...this is one of the many reasons I believe polka is evil. LOL I ended up having multiple surgeries trying to repair the foot.  It got worse with each surgery and my weight was just making it unbearable.  The more it hurt, the less I did, the more weight I put on....rinse repeat.  Eventually my podiatrist suggested amputation of the pinkie toe (where 90% of the pain was due to hammering and bunion development). Sign me up I said.  I have had great relief from the pain with the toe gone (all the way home) but it does make me a little sad to realize that if I had done the RNY prior I could probably still have ten little piggies. Here is a toe shot for the curious.

Menu!

B: Chobani Simply 100

S: Grapes and blueberries (1 cup)

L: Flat Out wrap (1/2), horseradish mustard, ham, provolone

D: Unknown... company flying in tonight so I will be eating out

Have a great day!

Good morning.  So glad its almost the weekend, except I'm going to have to work, so I don't know why I'm so excited.  Today will be busy.  I'm busy at work, have to leave early for a Dr. appt. then have to drive to Disneyland for a marketing event.  At 4:30 when I expect to get out of the Dr. it will take me almost 2 hrs to get down to Orange County, so I'm not looking forward to that.  Also, these events aren't nearly as much fun as they used to since I don't drink and won't eat the appetizers that will be passed around.  Honestly, I'd rather be home so I can go to the gym and stay in my routine.

KQOTD:  First, love the story AV!!  Yep.  More than 1.  First one was when I was in first grade.  I was at a friend's house and we were riding bikes.  I fell and instead of putting my hand down I landed on my elbow.  Shattered the thing.  Had to go to surgery twice for that.  First time they got the bones back in place.  Second time was because when the swelling went down, the bone slipped and it "re-fractured" itself.  Apparently where I fractured it there are a high concentration of nerves and they kept me in the hospital for a week and wouldn't let me get out of bed.  I also broke a finger playing basketball with my brother.

My food plan is completely up in the air today given the Dr. appt. and marketing event.  Here's what I have so far:

B: Turkey, pesto and cheese. Homemade latte with 4 oz fairlife milk

L: Turkey and cheese roll ups

D: ?????????

S: ??????????????

No totals given the prevalence of ???????? in my plan

Hello everyone. It is suppose to be rainy this weekend I think, AV.

QOTD: The only only bonesI have ever broken are both my pinky toes....constantly ramming them into walls, doors and just about anything. Probably broke both at least twice. Broke the right pinky just before I went into surgery. It was black and blue half way up my foot. Couldn't even put on a pair of shoes or sneakers. Could only wear my leapard lined crocs...so I was making a fashion statement, lol.

B: 6 oz. Fairlife fat free milk w/ 1 scoop Indpie Pumpin Pie Protein powder. Nice change from chocolate!

L: 4oz. Premeir Protein drink

D: not sure yet.

I can't wait until I can have puréed foods!

Hello to my favorite group of RNYers!  I'm behind, (as usual lately) so I have to be quick.  QOTD: I fractured my skull when I was 13, I'm one of the statistics as to why kids have helmet laws when they ride bikes.  I'm off to see my surgeon today for my 12 week check up, I weighed my outfits to see which was the lightest, no watch, slip on shoes and my contacts instead of glasses.  I'm sick, I tell you.

B: 1/2 a sugar free Greek yogurt and a couple of grapes

L: hard boiled egg and cheese

D: no idea

Everyone have a great day!
