What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Was there a QOTD?
Sat went to cheesecake factory with mom and one sister and her family. It was good and I got the chicken lettuce tacos with avocado, salsa, etc. It was yummy
I need this said recipe to the pancake!
I weighed today and was up 2 pounds! WTH. I'm claiming it is all water and poo. Nothing else it can be. Support group tonight and I missed last month.
Another %$% snake on my jog yesterday this time in the middle of the road. I quickly ran back in the other direction and drove to the HS to jog. I looked it up when I got back and it wasn't a copperhead this time so thank god.
B: 1/2 GNC protein, decaf with miralax
S: other 1/2 of bar, heated
L: tuna
S:
D: Not sure - I have group and DH is having an eye exam so I might get grilled nuggets at chick fil a
s: had a yasso bar last night so I'm not having another one until the weekend
I like the lettuce wrap appetizer at Cheesecake Factory. It is my go-to order. The calories are listed as high, but I figure that must be if you eat all the sauces they give you. I use some sauce but most of it is left over.

Good morning,
Sounds like you had a nice Mother's Day AV. Mine was nice also. I did some shopping this weekend for more new spring clothes. Luckily, dh gave me a gift certificate for Kohls on Saturday becaues he knew I was planning to go back with my Kohls cash and 20% off. So I bought two new pair of capris, a shirt and some earrings. Sunday they gave me another gift certificate so I can shop again. Woohoo! Hubby also made a fantastic dinner which I could only eat a little of since it was mostly pasta and garlic bread, but he also made his stuffed mozzarella meatballs and those are THE BOMB! I have a couple for my lunch today.
So glad the sun is back out and I may possibly get to wear some new spring clothes this week. Today is sunny, but I'm still cold at work and wearing my hideous, too big, black cardigan.
Time since surgery: 1 year +
B: 2 Jones turkey sausage patties, 1/2 fiber one english muffin
L: 2 mozzarella stuffed meatballs, homemade marinara sauce, parmesan cheese
D: Chicken thigh, carrots, zucchini
S: Old croc cheese, mary's gone crackers, L&F banana cream yogurt
Cals: 890 Protein: 75 Carbs: 54 Fat: 35
Trying to eat more good carbs (but still keep them on the lower side) and more calories, can add a yasso bar for a treat tonight and still be under 1000 calories. The weight still not moving, if this doesn't work by next week I'm probably going back to shakes and yogurt for a jump start.
Morning AV. I'm glad you had a nice relaxing weekend. I had a busy, buys weekend and It was wonderful! On Sunday my hubby took the oldest to the Tiger's game, so it was me and the little guy. I took him for a much needed hair cut, then we went out for lunch and a bit of shopping. Then in the afternoon we went to the park near our house for a 2 year olds birthday party. That pretty much consisted of me running around playing with the baby and occasionally chatting with the other moms. 2 year olds don't really play well together, lol. Here's a NSV for you. I took a ride down the slide. Actually, I probably slid about 30 times, my kiddo loved racing down and the slides were side by side.
Mother's Day started off with my running the Goddess 5K in Ann Arbor. I totally kicked ass! I beat my best time by over 3 minutes. Offical time for this one was 44:25. This course is almost the exact same one as the first 5k I ran, which is really hilly. My legs are very sore this morning. Of course it was Muscle Monday at the gym and they started a new challenge with 50 push ups a day. We did about 200 squats in various forms, with and without weights and I am reminded that I basically took the week off from the gym last week because I am hurting! With the race yesterday I honestly think I could have had a better run, but the pants I chose to wear turned out to be a bit too big. I hadn't run in those pants since the last 5k a month ago, so when I started running my pants started sliding down. I literally had to hold them up while running. They also rolled my underwear halfway down my ass so I kept reaching in and fixing them. I swear the people behind probably had a huge laugh. Note to self, retire those pants! The rest of my day was great, dinner and visiting with both my mom and my mother in law.
Here is my plan for the day:
B: 1 egg, 1 slice of velveeta and a slice of bacon. Coffee with FF cream and splenda at home and coffee with cream and splenda at work
L: Albacore tuna with mayo, I was going to bring half a flat out wrap, but forgot them, so lower carbs! A dill pickle spear
D: Baked Cod with steamed veg
S: Light and Fit Greek and 2oz of fresh blueberries
Totals
Calories 562 Protein 72 Carbs 29 Fat 18
My food is light today, so I'll add a snack in later. My hubby is gone for tonight for sure, and possibly tomorrow night so send good vibes that I stay away from the junk. I am finding I eat more **** when he's not at home and can't see me. Oh how I love food issues.
it is by Epic Races and I saw advertising for the Tri Goddess Triathlon. It's in June here and I believe that the actual race is about 30 minutes from my house. I MIGHT do the Detroit Half Marathon in October, but i don't know about a triathlon because I'm not a very good swimmer. But if you come here to do it, I will most definitely come to support you!
