What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
The transition to dense protein can be challenging. Keep it moist, add a little gravy, sauce, broth, condiment as needed...small bites and chew well. Chicken thighs usually work better than breast. Crockpot can be your friend at this point. And no reheating in the microwave...it will turn it to rubber, or seem like it especially in the beginning. I would put leftovers to reheat in a small frypan with a lid with a little bit of water on low and let it warm that way.

Well my Mother's Day started with Parker (almost 5) falling down the stairs and splitting his head open! I still can't get the noise of him falling and screaming out of my head. So the first part of the day was spent a urgent care. THEN we went to Home Depot of bought carpet for the stairs. ugh ugh ugh Parker is ok, just needed some glue, but I might not recover very fast. He has bumps and bruises all over.
Then I had to go get a bathing suit, I must have tried on 30 suits at Target. It was emotionally draining. I always thought bathing suit shopping at this size would be AWESOME, but all I could see was my horrible saggy skin and flapjack boobs.
I was also "up" 5 lbs this morning. My body is being soooooo stupid. Shark week is 5 DAYS LATE, and I am always right on time. Needless to say I haven't had the best couple days, and I am fighting the anxiety pretty bad right now. I ate way to many carbs this weekend, and am fighting the head hunger hard right now.

Oh no! I'm glad he's OK. But poor mom.
At Michael's bball game Friday night, the other team's pitcher took a line drive right to his jaw. It was horrifying and you could see all the moms on the field just freaking the eff out.
Also? There is nothing quite as unforgiving as a fitting room mirror. I'm sure you looked great in those suits, but I feel your pain.
