What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! This weekend was good. We had both my in-laws and parents up on Saturday for the kid's sports events and no one killed each other. I consider that a huge win! Yesterday I got up went on a long run, went for a pedi with my bestie, then to Target with my hubbie, finally we sat around and watched tv as a family (gotta love Scrubs). Perfect Mother's Day!
My daughter gifted me with this card and I almost cried.

Good morning! Mother's Day was quiet here - I celebrated by taking a longish walk with my 2 little furbabies, and buying flower seeds for the townhouse garden. I had a nice long chat by phone with my mother, who is 92, and still lives in her own house with a big garden.
The two pounds I gained last week are gone, along with another 1/2 lb. Phew!

Good Morning Everyone!
I had an okay Mother's Day. Was missing my mom, too, who died a couple years ago. And missing my daughter who is in Washington D.C. area visiting my brother and his family. So I spent the day with my two fur babies, Blossom and Tippy. I did get to talk to Saralisa on Facebook yesterday evening but I had to remind her by hinting to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. She was telling me all about the amusement park they went to and the roller coasters they went on so I'm glad they are having a great time!
Yesterday I ate a Protein shake, a Muscle tech Mission 1 Protein bar, cottage cheese, 2 oz. steak, 2 string cheese sticks and an Atkin's snack bar. Today will probably be similar. I seem to be having some trouble eating dense protein. It sits in my pouch like a rock and I feel like I need to throw up. I wait the 30 minutes before drinking and sometimes I do throw up. Lately just the thought of eating chicken or beef or any dense protein makes me nauseous. Any thoughts? I am almost to the stage of normal diet.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
