Hmm. I have an issue with this. My favorite outdoor activity is the same as my favorite indoor activity. And you do NOT want pictures.

First off I am older than you...

I thought it was a pic of us doing some kind of outdoor activity?  Maybe I dreamt that?  I don't remember the tattoo one, I must have missed that post.

Since its May and "April showers bring May flowers" how about a Gardening pic or landscape?

Anyone else want to add some ideas so AV can pic?

For the first week of August, we should have a favorite sports apparel  photo week. That will be after you and hubby come down to Fenway.

Hi everyone! This is my debut post on the Menu's post!

I had a good Mother's Day! I have two kiddos, a 14yo son and a 16yo daughter. We didn't do much, but I'll be honest, that's my doing because I am now 7 days out from surgery, on my pre-op- diet, and didn't want to go out to eat anywhere. We were going to go play putt putt golf, but I blamed it on the impending weather - but honestly, I think I'm a little down and stressed about the surgery and I also had my second eye (Cataract) surgery on Tuesday, so my vision is still a bit off. So, instead, we all sat around and watched TV. I did get out with my spouse and we took a 1 mile walk, so that's all good.

My pre-op diet is pretty good considering what I've seen from others. So here's my menu for the day:

B: Premier Protein shake

S: Fluffy Vanilla Crisp Protein Bar

L: 4 oz chicken breast and 1/2C steamed broccoli and 1/2 BA shake

S: another fluffy bar

D: Turkey meatloaf (made without any fillers, I'll just use egg to bind it), and 1/2C mashed cauliflower 1/2 BA shake

S: yet another fluffy bar!

My liquid diet starts on Friday, and then surgery on Monday, May 16th!! Looking forward to swiping lots of menu ideas from ya'll!

It's normal to feel stressed and even a bit down! Big changes are coming and you are stuck there just waiting. You will do just fine and have all of us here cheering you on too!

Good Morning!

I usually avoid Mother's Day altogether - at least I have since the death of my mother. This year I decided to book myself a hair and nails appointment. It was nice being pampered.  When I came home, my nephew wished me a Happy Mother's Day.  That was sweet.  I don't think he even called his own mother (it's complicated.)

I have a cold and sore throat, so I suspect many cups of tea will be added to today's menu.
