I love bees too. I have about 30 lavender plants in my parking strip in front of my house. They are covered with bees all summer. I love to walk by them and hear the buzz.
Maybe it is just me, but I can't hear the word "skinny" enough. It is still such a novelty. There is one woman at work who always greets me with "hi skinny" or "hi slim." I am not ashamed to admit that it thrills me every time. I worked hard for it, darn it. I am skinny! Embrace the skinny, my friend.

yay for a fellow bee lover!
For some reason MA I just can't get down with "skinny", I also get called "tiny" a lot, of the two I prefer tiny but it just a brain freeze for me on the word skinny. Growing up skinny was always a negative thing, like "oh look at the girl, she is so skinny and sickly" never has skinny been a positive thing, at least not in my world. BUT I do get the loving the compliments, when I know someone says it to me and they are coming from a loving and proud place then I like the compliment. And you brought up a good point, we have all worked very hard for these healthy fit lovely bodies and we should embrace it!
Embracing my fellow "skinny" friend LOL LOL
