Happy Grad Day to daughter!  Give her a hug from us!  Sorry the steak the second time came up.  Slow down, chew chew chew and keep it moist with lots of gravy or sauce of some kind, you can do it!!

Tell me about these "Atkin's snack bar" how is the protein to calorie to carb ratio?  Early post op you want the best bang for your buck and considering it has "snack bar" in the title makes me think it more like a candy bar than a protein bar.  Jus****ching out for your back Karen!

Glad you are keeping up with walking the dogs daily, good exercise for them and you and good to keep Blossom moving forward with her fears of the neighbourhood.

Qotd: leggings and a long tshirt that says "bless your heart".

Menu today will be new whey protein shots, sugar free jello, maybe a Popsicle.

Having a lot of trouble getting the protein in, I just have no interest. Will keep sipping.

Going to see my surgeon in a bit. All seems well.

Poop question: I shouldn't really expect to go when I'm just taking clears, right? That's what I'm thinking.

Most people are constipated for a while after WLS. You'll still need to go, though. We all seem to take several days, and then require milk of magnesia or something to get the ball rolling.

Don't depend on the New Whey too much. All protein is not created equal, and despite their claims, they aren't very good. New Whey is mostly collagen protein, and you won't get much benefit from it. Collagen comes from things like hooves. Look for something that is 100% whey protein isolate (not concentrate). That will be the most nutritious for you, especially when you can't get much in.
