There is a local cheese factory near me that makes the most amazing curd! My personal favourite is the garlic curd. They also do a roasted garlic, a jalapeno and a dill one that are also yummy.

Good morning! QOTD: when my siblings and I were small (all 5 of us) we would spend the days leading up to Christmas Eve making Christmas tree decorations - paper chains, popcorn ropes, paper snowflakes...you get the idea. On Christmas Eve day we would decorate the tree, which was a great way of keeping us busy and out of trouble until bedtime - we were almost sick with excitement by then, and on our very best behavior for Santa. On Christmas morning after the gifts were opened, we would have sausages and waffles for breakfast - a once a year treat. It's a wonderful memory of all of us together.

No sausages or waffles for me today! The dogs and I will go for a stroll before the rain begins later this morning.

B: rotisserie chicken

L: roast beef

Rosary pliers are usually found in the craft section of stores.  They have long, narrow ends.  Used mostly for beads.

QOTD: Of all the holidays my favorite is July 4th.  Even though my mom makes a big thing out of Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas when it comes to the 4th it is my absolute favorite one.  She makes 34 quarts of quahog chowder and clam cakes all from scratch.  For 10 years I would shuck a bushel and a half of the quahogs for her until I found a fish market that would sell her 3 gallons of them already shucked.  Yes there is a very different taste between them and clams.  Of course there are the hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and tons of other stuff, but the chowder and clam cakes are my favorite and I am the only child who has learned and perfected making it.
