Losers bench today

Surgery was this morning. I have been sicker than the proverbial dog all day because apparently anesthesia didn't listen to my request for no anesthetic gas. Feeling much better tonight, walking and sitting up in a chair. But no Fluids for me right now, they want to make sure I don't throw up anymore.

Uuuggh. Sorry you got sick from the anesthesia.  Glad everything went well. Rest up and take it easy until they let you move and drink.

Thank you for posting and letting us know how you are. Sorry you are got sick off the anesthesia. I too get deathly ill from anesthesia and I must have had about four consults with the anesthetist before my surgery as I was seriously freaking out that I would get sick and be throwing up after surgery. Even when I was in the operating room lying on the operating table and the doctor was about to put me out I was saying to him, "make sure you give me the stuff that is NOT going to make me sick!!" He assured me he got the message loud and clear and I woke up fine, not sick at all, but seriously I was a broken record to my WLS team.

Walk as much as you can, and rest, nothing wrong with resting and taking pain meds if needed.

Glad you are on the losers bench with us, feel better!

It's not easy, the next few weeks, but so worth it, and one day you will wake up and feel good.  I promise.  Take care of yourself and go easy!
