Good Morning!
Had a great weekend! Saturday I went with the kids and my parents to 'Day Out with Thomas the Train' - we all had a lot of fun. My parents took the kids home with them and my husband was up north turkey hunting so I had 24 glorious hours alone! Of course I used to it clean the entire house, but it was so nice to be able to do so without two little tornados following behind me undoing it all!
The amount of support in the OH community is wonderful :) it is always comforting to know you are never "alone" and the advice/uplifting words are invaluable.
QOTD: I do not fluently speak another language, despite taking Spanish in both high school and collage. Oppps. If I were to learn a second language now I'd probably pick something like Mandarin Chinese, for business purposes. From what I hear, it's a big resume booster...

I'm worth it!
OMG, Day Out with Thomas! So fun!! My son was a RABID Thomas fan. We did Day Out three times and we have well over $5000 worth of trains/tracks/accessories just hanging out in the crawlspace. Honestly, I kind of miss having the train table set up. LOL
I cannot imagine how much money this event brings in with just the train ride alone! But the kids do seem to enjoy themselves, however, the youngest didn't really get it and fell asleep mid-ride.
IWe have a huge container of the GeoTrax train tracks and vehicles. It's amazing what they build with them, the oldest used to be obsessed. We still get them out once in a while, but it's difficult with baby-zilla ruining around.

Good Morning! We got some rain out of nowhere last night and today it's supposed to be sunny and about 85 here today. Had a blast Friday afternoon at my daughter's game (she scored the first run of the game and made it to base both at bats). Hubby had to work most of the weekend so I enjoyed some girl time with my daughter. We shopped, played Yahtzee and spent time in the kitchen. We made cheese stuffed chicken breast (recipe below), bakes oatmeal (her request) and some yummy raspberry scones http://pin.it/mavX0HT Not sure if the link will work but they were super simple to make.
I did see 3bassets post....truly honest!
QOTD: I do not speak any other languages but wish I could speak Spanish (in my area of the world it would be beneficial). I took classes for 2 years in high school (and passed) but don't remember most of it.
